نحن قوم أعزنا الله بالإسلام ، فهما طلبنا العزة بغيره ، أذلنا الله

We are the people whom Allah honoured through Islam, so whenever we seek honour other than it, Allah will disgrace us.

BALKIS: Whose Money Is It?

Well,

Recently, one 'money transfer' caught the eye of the Selangor Menteri Besar. Yes, it was none other than the transaction which was made by the wife of Khir Toyo on behalf of BALKIS (Wives of Selangor Assemblymen and MPs Welfare and Charity Organisation).

Dr Khir was defending his wife, Datin Seri Zaharah Kechik, and made some comments which I need not elaborate further. One can always refer to TheStar, Utusan Online or Malaysia-today to update oneself regarding this matter. (One thing I'd like to mention though, is that she looks like someone who has has some nosejob and/or other plastic surgeries. Just like the husband).

Somehow, the money now sits with BAKTI, BALKIS' counterpart for the MP's. Usually, whenever we have something of this nature, the PM will spring up to his feet and make some remarks. Or in PakLah's case, KJ will do that on his behalf.

Yet, neither PakLah nor KJ have opened their mouths, and none have said anything.

Honestly, I believe the transfer is wrong. What I believe even more is that, PakLah's silence is somehow related to Khir Toyo's mounting a challenge for the Youth Leader post this december. This issue could have been easily solved, or not given the appropriate attention by the media as it usually does. However, the 'extensive' coverage, plus the TV3 broadcast on Khir's explanation must count to something.

One has to remember, people always reflect a figure's characteristics by his/her spouse's behaviour. And now, Khir's political career seems hanging by this thread. Should his wife be proven guilty, that would put at least a pause to Khir's political career, just like what happened to Muhammad son of Muhammad.

Well KT, that's just the beginning of your long winding road before you actually come face to face with KJ in december. 8 months can be a long time in one's political career, especially if one is going against the son-in-law-who-dishonestly-won-the-parliament-seat of the Prime Minister. Come december, I would not be surprised if you'd have been totally 'evaporated', just like the daughter of Shaaribu Setev...

Treasure Hunt & Feeling the Exhaustion

Wow,

It has been quite a while since I really updated this blog. Not that my life was boring that nothing seems worth mentioning.

For the past few weeks, I had been on short errands on many days. I managed to go home on one weekends, and Dad and I took the opportunity to see one freehold lot in Pekan Nenas. On our way back, the car got stuck in the mud, and after much pushing and jacking, finally the car got out, covered in mud.

After another diversion, I finally got home.

I drove back to PD on monday morning (5am), and feeling too tired, I slept at Machap (1hr) and Pagoh (30min). Una was of no help either. She could not drive manual, and her dozing off simply made me more sleepy.

The following week, few days were spent in Nilai, doing new heat exchanger hydrotesting.

On Saturday, I embarked on another trip to Cherating. Yes, it's the treasure hunt. I had another two engineers in my team. Well, we got few questions wrong, and somehow was penalised 2 points for being 2 minutes late. Well, we still enjoyed ourselves swimming at the beach, and later playing water polo at the pool

That night, we were surprised that our team was not even make the top-1o list. We asked the organiser later, and realised that they miscalculated our points. After restoring us the 12points, we ended up 5th and was promised Rm150 (but our pride has been crushed anyway). We started as one of the favourites, and sadly, the penalty robbed us of no.4, and some silly treasure took 2nd place away from us.

Arrived in PD at 9pm on Sunday, I quickly joined the PAS event at Bagan Pinang, and enjoyed a joyous meal of lamb curry.

And today, I am super exhausted.. and worse, tomorrow I'd have to go to KL..

I came across this report in a friend's blog. Many people complained that the name is crude and carries sexual connotation. Still, I cannot believe that people's minds are very much directed to 'that'.
To me, it is oral care, and what else suits better into the Oral-B rhymes?
Well, this may be one of the company's problems, but it has done good promotion. WELL DONE
