New House

Well, there are many things I'd like to write about my new house, but life has been rather busy.

Car accident, spending late nights and wee hours at balai polis seremban & kajang are just part of it.

Wow, so fast, now it is the end of ramadhan already.

Today is the moonsighting day for Malaysians in general. So, let's do this everyone.

I have moved to a different house. Alhamdulillah.

Muhammad AlFatih now can roll and start creeping. His voice has become very loud. When he laughs or cries at the top of his voice, sometimes it could be quite deafening. Next on the agenda: Hantar pi training bola dengan Unclu Huhu.

Today, we will be driving back to Johor Bahru. All throughout ramadhan, I have not been back yet. So, this will be the first time iftar in JB this year.

What else? Will be back to work on the 15th due to some work commitment. Adoi.

I still have not handed over the house in PD to the owner. So, anyone wants holiday in PD, there is accommodation. But have to bring your own bed.

Last week

Whole of last week, my wife and my son spent their time at Kampung Melayu Kangkar Pulai. My sister went to this course in Singapore, and my wife had to take care of her son.

Now my son has a brother. A brother in radha'ah.

Anyway, after almost one week, I was surprised to see him being able to mimic other's face. Hehe. The child will just immitate our expression.

I guess, that's why children who are brought up in houses full of smiles and laugters would grow up to be a cheerful ones.

This morning, I went to DOSH's office to pick up my Steam Engineer Cert. Alhamdulillah.

Next aim: Steam Engineer Grade I.

Maryam's friend's wedding

On the invitation card, it only mentioned that the groom is a son of Tan Sri Musa.

Someone called Maryam yesterday, asking, which Tan Sri Musa. Mohamed? Hassan? Hitam?

Oh, apparently, it was the IGP's son's wedding.

Ustaz, saya nak tanya sikit. Masuk UMNO tu, selari dengan Sunnah ke? Bukankah sunnah Nabi berjuang menentang jahiliyah, bukan bersekongkol.

Oh, lepas join UMNO saja, boleh cabar mahkamah syariah. Fuh, hebat la ustaz. Ni memang dapat protection ni. Sure terlepas tak sabit. Kalau tak sabit, boleh bertanding pilihanraya akan datang.

Tak apa lah ustaz. Cuma saya nak tanya sikit. UMNO tu bukan bidaah ke? Membuat golongan mukmin berbaiah pada selain Islam (UMNO, Freemason) bukan kah haram? Membuat orang islam taat kepada selain AlQuran dan Hadis, bukankah bidaah dholalah? Aik, tapi Ustaz tak kira bidaah pula. Ustaz bersekongkol lagi. Hehe. Yang saya faham, kalau tolak alquran, sunnah, hina janggut nabi, tu bukan kira ahlul bidaah lagi, tu boleh jadi ahlul kufr dah.

Tak apa lah ustaz. Saya rasa, geng ittiba' sunnah ustaz ni, memang selective. Ni macam ikut sunnah rabi yahudi. Ambil mana yang mudah, tolak mana yang susah. Oh lupa pula, ustaz baca hadis 'permudah, jangan susah2kan' agaknya.

100 % Pass at First Attempt

Yesterday I got the result of my steam engineer interview. Alhamdulillah, another first-attempt-pass. Alhamdulillah, Allah has been helping me at Shell, and I have passed all my 4 API certs and this with one attempt.
This post is not about bragging, but the recent pass does give me some bragging right, especially after few of my colleagues laughed at me when we had the mock interview.

It was around 16km mountain biking, going through some terrain and estates.

Well, I like cycling, but I do not really fancy going through this stuff. I just prefer to remain on tarmac.

Today

The world was shocked by the Israel Commando's attack on the humanitarian aid convoy.

I do not want to elaborate much on this, since much coverage has been given by Malaysia Local and Foreign media.

In retaliation, some muslims leaders condemned the Jews. This indicates how successful the Freemason agenda has been. Muslim sees Zionist & Jews as the same group, and give hostile treatments to both. This will force the good jews to join the evil Zionist.

During the time of the Prophet s.a.w, there were some Jews who fought hands-in-hands with the Prophet, against the Quraisy during the battle of Uhud, and lost their lives. History is repeating itself. There are good Jewish out there, who fought together with the Muslim against Zionism. We, the monolithic religions followers, must unite, under one message, and fight this bunch of godless zionists.

Whatever happens, this incident is another step that takes us closer to the arrival of the Antichrist/ Dajjal, and closer to the return of Jesus Christ a.s, and the victory of Islam.

In the mean time, I am still waiting for Malaysia PM, Najib Tun Razak's remark on the issue. He is known to have good relationship with Zionist, what with the link to APCO. I still wonder how the Tun Razak family managed to gain the upper hand in Malaysia politics, and I am not sure if masonry is not involved.

Sedutan surat terbuka saya buat MSM UK berkaitan kes pelajar yang disebut pada entry sebelumnya:

saya harap email ini sampai ke pihak MSM dan dibaca dengan 'the right spirit'. Ini sahaja alamat MSM yang saya jumpa di internet.

Alhamdulillah, anak beliau semakin sihat, dan semoga Allah memberi kekuatan buat mereka sekeluarga.

Namun begitu, saya terbaca bahagian ini

Satu perkara yang saya risaukan, berapa mahalkah insurans tersebut? Tiadakah cara untuk sahabat-sahabat membantu? Siapakah yang memberi nasihat untuk tidak membeli insurans? 6 bulan di Czech, dan 3 bulan di Malaysia. Bagaimanakah sepasang parents boleh membuat keputusan begitu? Why opt not to buy insurance? Tak bolehkah pinjam2 duit orang, jemaah dsb?

Jangan sebut bab tak berbaloi untuk beli insurans, kerana it is not our lives we are talking about.

Saya bukan menyalahkan sesiapa. Namun, pada saya MSM selaku organisasi (assuming student ni ahli MSM) mungkin boleh tingkatkan khidmat. Dalam kita sibuk menggalakkan students berkahwin untuk elak maksiat, adakah students tersebut matang, untuk membuat keputusan? Bagaimana peranan naqib? adakah setakat dalam usrah? Atau naqib sendiri belum berkahwin, dan tidak mampu memberi nasihat yang relevan. Adakah students bersedia dengan hidup selepas kahwin, dari segi fizikal, dan mental. begitu juga dengan persediaan untuk menyambut kelahiran anak dan sebagainya?

Persoalan ini, harus dilihat oleh organisasi MSM. Isu ini secara tak langsung, menjejaskan imej kumpulan-kumpulan islam. Orang bercakap "derang ni pandai kawinkan orang saja, bab lepas kawin tu tak diajar". Secara tak langsung ia jadi fitnah pada jemaah.

Sekali lagi, saya harap, email ini dapat dilihat dari sudut yang objektif. Tiadalah saya berkata, melainkan mengharapkan yang terbaik buat si anak, ibu ayah, jemaah, dan Islam.

Semoga pihak tarbiyah dan pimpinan MSM dapat sama-sama renungkan. InsyaAllah, kita sama-sama bantu sahabat kita, dan doakan yang terbaik.

Hari ini, aku terbaca appeal untuk sahabat di Czech ini.

1) Aku mendoakan yang terbaik pada sahabat ini. Dan insyaAllah akan cuba membantu yang dapat.

2) Ini juga adalah masalah kepada students yang berkahwin nak jadi parents. Lepas ini, siapa yang nak kahwin, kalau nak dapat anak, pinjam la duit dari parents ke, bank ke, sape2 la. Make sure, apa2 jadi, anak tu covered with medical insurance. Biar lah susah dahulu. Prepare for the worst case scenario. Aku pun pinjam duit parents, banyak pula tu, sebab anak nak lahir. Isy Isy.

3) Ini juga isu dengan students kot. Masalah students yang islamik dan nak kawin awal, tapi mentally tak matured. Macam mana anak tu boleh hidup 6 bulan di Czech tanpa insurans, hanya sebab fikir nak bersalin di Malaysia. Jadi, discount 6 bulan, hanya kerana plan nak balik Malaysia. Aduh, aku sangat sedih la baca kes ini.

Komen ini bukan untuk condemn couple tersebut. Cuma lepas ni, harap semua yang nak kawin tu, berfikirlah dengan lebih matang.

Iblis one mistake

This story is captured in the Quran. When Allah created Adam from clay, He ordered the malaikat to bow down to Adam. All obeyed Him, except Iblis.

7:12 ((Allah)) said: "What prevented thee from bowing down when I commanded thee?" He said: "I am better than he: Thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay."

Iblis thought that he was a better creature simply because of he was created from fire and Adam from clay. This is the first example of racism in Allah's creations, and how Allah was displeased with racism.

And so the story went on, that Iblis was expelled from heaven, and since then, he has vowed to entice Adam's descendants to follow his track, away from the right path.

So, let's look at ourselves? Are we racist in any way? Do we think that we are superior than Indonesians, simply because we were born Malaysians? Maybe we think we do not, but look at how we treat our fellow muhajiroons.

Do we think that we are supreme, because we are Malay, and those non-malays are inferior to us? Maybe we think we are OK, but how come we never object to the abuse of scholarship fund, where the right group of people do not receive the right benefit, simply because they are not the right race.

If we do, than we have inherited one characteristics of Iblis, that has kept him away from the Jannah. Racism

I will bring more complicated example so that we can discuss about it in coming entries (hopefully).

I want to keep this note short.

Yesteday, my sister delivered her baby, and it was not without complications. The baby is currently in ICU.

Last night, my baby was admitted to hospital for photo-therapy. It was something relatively small compared to what my sister has to go through, yet, that had kept me rather worried and sleepless.

One would not understand the feelings of the parents until one becomes parent.

We all pray that my nephew get well soon, so that he can come home, and fill the air with his laughters and cries.

And please everyone, make dua also.

One week has passed.. In the mean time...

1) PKR lost at Hulu Selangor, with a little margin. Alhamdulillah, I think that is the best result. PKR win will make them arrogant, and losing too much will show that BN has regained people support. Losing with little margin ( <6000 ) is OK, as indicates that PR has to do muhasabah.

2) One boy (Aminurasyid) was shot dead by police, head shot. When I first heard the news on the radio, the reporter said that the police were aiming for the tyres. My dad immediate response was "well, wheels and driver's head are far apart. The police must have aimed at the head". Today, when I checked Berita Harian, there was no mentioning of the "aim for the wheel". I think the police realised that it did not make any sense, and decided to remove it from their 'story'.

3) I went home to JB on Friday. On monday, I went for the steam engineer interview. It was hell difficult, bet let's wait for the result.

4) Suddenly, I have been having back pain since saturday. Scheduled for MRI on thursday.

5) My blog has been 'tagged' by geng ISMA mesir, for being to vocal at their president's blog. Well, honestly, my good points have been deleted by the admin from the blog, leaving only my 'not-so-good' ones. But I guess, it is the president's choice to decide to hide things from their members or the public. My point is very simple. There is reason why ISMA is kicked out from Ikhwan, and their members should contemplate about this. I will write about this more, later.. Currently I am too busy to put a structured argument at ISMA's ketuanan melayu ideal.

OK, off to work..

The weekends that have passed...

Ok, the last time I actually wrote something here was about 3 weeks ago.

I had been rather occupied. End of last month, a good friend of mine when I was in Bristol, Adam Bowler, came over to visit me, before he finally starts working. It was almost four years ago when we last met.

First, we went to Redang Island. Honestly, the outbound ferry was really bad. The rolling made me sick, but it was still OK, and I could still read newspaper etc. It was when one of the girls started puking, that the chain of events followed. Many more threw up, and the smell really made everyone sick. I did not puke, but really had to manage myself to avoid doing so.

Anyway, we got there, and that afternoon, we went to our first open sea snorkeling trip. It was lovely, I am short of words to describe it. So yeah, go and experience it yourselves.

Thursday was spent on the island, with two more snorkeling trips, and managed to spot a turtle. Wow. We also took time in the early morning doing our own snorkeling around the beach area, before that place got congested, and you'd see more bums in bikini rather than fish. That afternoon, we got so exhausted that we had to cancel our scuba diving trip.

Friday, we took the first boat out, and the speed boat cut down the sea travel hours significantly. We took the wooden bus from KT Shahbandar Jetty to Taman Tamadun Islam. We spent significant hours over there. The park is located in Pulau Wan Man (One man Island), and friday prayer was not performed at masjid kristal over there. I managed to get a lift from a man on motorcycle to get to Masjid makmur, located several kilometers away.

Anyway, after that, we were joined by Faiz, a good friend of mine, currently working in Petronas Refinery in Kemaman. We went to Masjid Kristal for asr, and there was an akad nikah ceremony. We sat there to watch, while I explained to Adam what was going on etc. Then, we took the boat ride around Pulau Duyung.

Then, we went eating keropok lekor, and headed south to Kemaman. Along the way, we stopped at masjid terapung, and finally arrived in Kemaman and had dinner. Later that night, we took the bus to seremban.

Saturday, we went to Istana Lama Sri Menanti, where one can learn about the history of minangkabau people in malaysia. Then we went to Ulu Bendul waterfall, where the water was really cold, and later had lemang for lunch. After lunch, we drove to Port Dickson, and visited the Army Museum. I forgot to show Adam my workplace. That night, we went to see the match between Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, which selangor won 1-0, but N9 went through on away goal.

Sunday, we went to Malacca, and I dropped Adam there so that he had his free time.

On Thursday, we travelled to a boiler manufacturer in Klang, and later to a hot spring in Sungkai. We spent the night at Ipoh train station hotel. The hotel was quite creepy, and gloomy. The lift was old, but surprisingly is still working.

Friday was spent in Kuala Kangsar. Visited the main attractions, parang making industry, tekat, and pottery workshop.

Saturday, we went water rafting for half day, and jungle trekking in the afternoon. Managed to see the Raflesia flower. Yay. The return journey from the mountain was a bit slow. One guy in our travel party could not come down, and it took hours for us to get him down.

That night, Kedah played N9 in the final, which Kedah should have won. We lost on penalties.

I left Adam in Penang on Sunday, and returned to PD. On tuesday, I bade him farewell at the airport, and on the way back to PD, stopped by Azad's place and had a long chat with him.

Yesterday, I arrived in penang again, and this time my wife and I went to Penang hospital for another baby scan. The baby looked healthy, and later we went shopping for the baby stuffs.

Exhausted.. and I hope you also are from reading this lengthy post.

I came across this post by Presiden ISMA, Ust Abdullah Zaik. Previously, I had admiration for ISMA, for their efforts, their AMAN Palestin movement, and I was quite saddened by the ISMA-JIM-IKRAM crisis. Maybe now, I understand better why some of Ikhwan leaders say that ISMA is only membawa keburukan pada jemaah ikhwan, and why some JIM-IKRAM leaders said that ISMA leadership has hubbul riasah (gila pangkat).

I do not want to comment much. Today is the nomination day fro Hulu Selangor by election. Maybe Ust Abdullah Zaid should have nominated himself as an UMNO candidate, said one of the comments.

Medical Check Up (real)

Ok, last post was not complete, simply because I was trying to update my blog using Nokia E71 at Island Hospital, Penang. The screen did not allow me to type much, so the message was cut short.

Some 3 weeks ago, I attended this great gathering at Masjid Negeri Pulau Pinang, for the lecture on kitab syamail muhammadiya. It was a great event, with free food and kitab. On the first day, they ran out of food. But it was OK. People were not there for food. Well done kerajaan negeri.

2 weekends ago, I sat for my usuluddin & syariah exam. It was OK, but I am not sure if I'd get good results.

Last week, I was in Penang. Did not do much apart from studying for my API exam, which is on tomorrow.

After that, I'll be taking few days off to take Adam around the country. He's due to arrive on the 30th.

slm. Wow it has been almost a month since i last updated my blog. Well life has been eventful, just sheer laziness. Last week, i sat for the syariah n usuluddin exam. It was for certificate level. They were ok. Not so difficult. The week before, i spent the mawlid nabi break in penang. It was really good,they had an imam read out kitab shamail muhammadiya by imam attirmidhi for 2 straight days. This never came out in the paper, sadly even mp like zulkifli nordin was a moron to believe penang canvelled the mawlid celebrations

Sampai sekarang, satu habit aku, yang aku tak tau la baik ke tak, adalah pergi kenduri kahwin orang yang aku tak kenal.

Memandangkan selalunya makanan di kenduri kahwin di Malaysia ni memang berlebih-lebihan, aku memang akan singgah.

Kalau tengah ada duit, Rm10 aku bagi ke tuan rumah. Ada hari, satu sen pun aku tak bagi. Cuma aku mampu doakan kesejahteraan tuan rumah, sebab tetamu, bila pulang, dosa-dosa tuan rumah akan diampunkan, asalkan dia ikhlas menerima tetamu.

Baru-baru ini, di Johor, aku satu keluarga pergi kenduri orang kami tak kenal pun. Pakcik tu, dia pergi ceramah PAS, dia terus bagi-bagikan kad kat orang yang hadir. Semangat inilah yang kita mahu. Semangat menjamu orang lain.

Aku berharap, bila aku buat kenduri anak aku nanti, orang pun tanpa segan silu akan datang. Datang la ramai-ramai. Aku ingat nak advertise dalam surat khabar.

Satu hari, encik bob berjumpa dengan saudara yang lama terputus hubungan, encik sukri. Jadi encik bob berjanji untuk membawa saudara mara yang lain bila ke rumah encik sukri lain kali.

'InsyaAllah, minggu depan, saya datang bawak adik beradik kita'
'Berapa orang ya agak-agak?'
'Kami datang 3 bas, insyaAllah, dari melaka, johor, dan perak'.

Pening kepala juga encik sukri nak sediakan makanan untuk 3 bas. Kira-kira 100 orang.

Tiba hari yang dijanjikan, anak encik sukri pun panggil bapaknya di bilik air.
'bapak, depa dah mai, 3 bas'

Encik sukri pun ke ruang tamu, nampak 3 orang sedang duduk bersila minum teh.
'Silalah minum, mana yang lain-lain, tak naik ke?'
'kami memang datang bertiga je'
'habis tu buat apa bawak bas sampai 3 buah?'
'kami ni semua DREBAR BAS'

I read a blog entry on an pro TunM UMNO blog. Read my remark over there.

Now I have been given warning. But that is OK. I am not retracting what I have written.

A friend of mine, WMF, when I asked him about this, simply replied, "Orang melayu ni bermimpi jika derang ingat our heads of religion ni jenis solat. They all drink bro".

I don't believe that, because I know some of them do pray, and don't drink. But I believe he was talking about the bigger group.

Remember when there was a quarrel between Negeri's royal & johor's? Where did it happen? I suspect it was after some alcoholic beverages consumption.

Of course, this would not disqualify them from the duty of defending islam. However, it seems ironic when one talks about defending islam, yet committing dosa besar in public..

Over the past one week

Ok, many things went by, and I am not going to point out everything.

The thursday before, I went home to JB by flight. Did not do much over the weekends period. There was one kenduri kahwin that we attended, but we did not know who the tuan rumah was. Ayah got the card during a ceramah pas. So we went, and Una sort of knew that person, and met some of her SMKA friends.

I think my life has become more and more pointless. And then suddenly, I went to someplace and bought a condominium apartment. It was like buying something from the shelves. I have been thinking a lot, but I did not know what actually triggered me to go to the sales office after work. So yes, I am currently finalising the loan details for that one.

I am also in the process of buying a house that I plan to stay in for the next decade. When I went there, I saw someone was in the lawn, the conversation as follows:

Z (aku): Salam, Ni ada apa ya?

Budak: Oh, tengah kemas-kemas. Mak ni a, orang yang nak beli rumah ni.

MC (makcik): Oh nak duduk sini ke? Rumah ni teruk dik, kena repair parkir dia, atap tu dah kena makan anai2. banyak kos ni... bla bla bla.. anai-anai.... bumbung... kalau betul adik nak duduk sini, nanti suruh kontraktor cina tu buat bla bla bla..

Z: (dalam hati, aku rasa heran, macam mana makcik ni cakap camni bla bla bla.. aku masuk ok je, aku check itu ini.. layan je la.. ) ye lah makcik, biasa la tu, kena repair.. saya dah minta kontraktor tengok...

MC: makcik bukan nak takut-takutkan, tapi rumah ni.. bla bla bla.. nampak benda atas bumbung.. bla bla.. kena buat tahlil ni...

Z: biasa la makcik, bila rumah orang tak duduk, memang la jin duduk.. adat la tu.. (dalam hati aku, Nabi suruh baca quran banyak2 bila masuk rumah baru.. bukan tahlil aje makcik wei)

When I went home, I learnt that the makcik has been wanting to buy the house for a long time. She wanted to give it to her children... but she offered a dead cheap price to the owner that the owner refused. Now that I wanted to buy and move in, I can sense her disappointment, and her trying to discourage me from moving in.

Whatever la makcik...

I think I have pointed out earlier that everytime I went to my in-laws house, there will be the standard dish.. masak lemak kuning.. it can be chicken, prawn, beef whatever, but there has to be...

Last night, when my in laws family were having dinner, my sister in law pointed out that my new biras does not eat masak lemak kuning style negeri sembilan. So I said, "macam mana nak masuk suku seri lemak pahang ni..." and mak said "hmm.. hilang la lemak tu.. " (tinggal seri pahang je la kot). of course everyone can choose what they like or don't like to eat, just like I don't really enjoy budu as much as my inlaws family do, and sometimes i feels awkward..

Khutbah Jumaat 29 Januari 2010

Hari ini, aku pergi solat jumaat di Masjid Kuarters Senai Airport. Khutbah hari ini sangat best. Topik aqidah islam.

1) Aqidah merupakan tunjang asas agama islam, ditonjolkan melalui kalimah syahadah. Mimbar turut menjelaskan ciri-ciri Allah, dengan berdasarkan surah alikhlas.

2) Mimbar mengakui perkataan Allah memang digunakan oleh orang arab bukan islam, terutama pengikut agama samawi, sejak zaman sebelum islam lagi.

3) Kesesuaian penggunaan kalimah Allah di malaysia di kalangan bukan islam adalah tidak sesuai, kerana sudah beratus tahun ia digunakan secara khusus oleh masyarakat Islam.

4) Mimbar menyuruh umat islam terus mempelajari akidah, agar tidak terkeliru.

Lebih kurang la, aku mintak salinan khutbah, tapi imam cakap dia tak ada copy, pasal dapat pun pukul 12 tgh hari. Tapi aku tabik la khutbah hari ini, relevan dengan isu semasa.

Point yang ada pun dihujahkan dengan baik. Sekurang-kurangnya, mimbar tak gunakan hujah "orang terkeliru" sebagai sebab untuk mengharamkan penggunaan Allah, sebaliknya lebih kepada faktor budaya. Dan mimbar turut meminta umat islam terus belajar akidah agar tidak terkeliru, dan lebih faham akidah.

Ibarat main bola sepak, kalau kita kalah, jangan kita marah dan ikat kaki team lawan. Memang patut kita tingkatkan praktis supaya lebih terer.

Apa pun, aku tabik juga lah khutbah Jabatan agama islam johor. Tak macam JAKIM yang kerja nak mengampu sahaja, sampai "faedah mengurangkan gula dalam makanan" pun boleh jadi tajuk khutbah.

Pengalaman Van Jenazah

Adapun van jenazah yang aku naiki bersaiz agak besar. Buatan Inokom, dan agak tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan van biasa. Ini memudahkan orang berjalan-jalan di bahagian belakang.

Van ini adalah milik badan khairat kematian Kariah Paroi Jaya, sumbangan lembaga tabung haji. 3 orang boleh duduk di depan, dan 3 lagi boleh duduk di belakang mengiringi jenazah.

3 kerusi di belakang di atur secara menegak. Seorang duduk di bahagian kepala jenazah, seorang di tengah, seorang di bahagian kaki.

Trip kali ini dipandu oleh Hj Khalid, dgn Hj Shafie sebagai pembantu beliau.

Di bahagian belakang, aku duduk di bahagian kepala jenazah, dan kak marsina di bahagian tengah.

Jam 12 tgh hari, van mula bergerak meninggalkan perkarangan rumah. Hj Shafie segera memasang kaset surah yasin. Maklumlah, kalau nak baca nonstop, mau berasap kepala. Aku pun, tanpa berlengah lagi, cuba melelapkan mata. Apa lagi yang boleh dibuat di belakang van jenazah.

Tak sampai 5 minit, aku dengar kak marsina menjerit. Aku segera toleh, tiba2 dia cakap dia sakit perut, tak boleh duduk di situ. Suspension tak bagus. Aku stress tahap 1.

Kali ini aku terlelap. Tiba2 aku dengar kak marsina jerit lagi, dan habis kepala aku digoyang2kan. Tangannya merewang2. Aku tanya kenapa, dia kata beg dia jatuh, kena kaki dia dan dia terkejut. Aku stress tahap 2.

Jalan baru melalui ke sri menanti telah dibuka. Aku tengok van ni dengan steady memotong kenderaan lain. Ada la 110-120km/j. Fuh boleh tahan pak haji ni. Kepala aku masih mamai di awang awangan, so aku tidur balik.

Tiba2, kepala aku digoyang2 lagi. Kak marsina terkejut sebab apebenda ntah. Kali ni aku dah stress.. tahap 3.. jadi aku tukar tempat dengan dia, dia duduk bahagian kepala, aku duduk bahagian kaki.. jauh sikit dari dia..

Dah nak sampai muadzam, dia jerit2 lagi, rupanya cakap kat phone dan tak clear, aku dah stress tahap gaban.. sampai tempat rehat, kitorang gilir2 solat, dan lepas tu, aku mintak dia duduk depan sebelah hj khlaid, dan haji shafie duduk belakang..

Bila haji shafie duduk belakang, barulah aku dan dia boleh tidur dengan aman.. haha..

sampai dungun jam 6, kami hantar jenazah ke masjid sura untuk solat jenazah. Lepas tu ke kubur. aku bawa pakcik2 ni ke resort untuk berehat dan mandi serta makan.

Usai solat maghrib, kam makan, dan sekitar jam 8, bertolak balik ke seremban. Hj shafie pesan, jangan duduk belakang sebab sunyi.

Sekitar 30min berjalan, aku kesian tengok hj shafie tak berapa selesa duduk di tengah-tengah. Aku volunteer pindah duduk belakang..

Kedua-dua pakcik memandang aku berkali2. Masing2 seolah-olah mahu bercerita sesuatu, tapi nampak seperti keazaman aku tak boleh digugat lagi.

Mereka terus bagi aku duduk belakang, dan pesan, apa2 hal, ketuk tingkap yang memisahkan compartment. jangan lari terjun pulak.

Aku terus duduk di seat paling belakang sekali. Ketika ini, baru aku perasan bau kapur barus yang kuat di bahagian belakang.

Sekejap saja aku duduk, dan terlelap...

Tiba2 aku terjaga, dan jam sudah 12malam, berhenti rehat di muadzam.

Sambung perjalanan aku terlelap lagi, dan 2 jam kemudian, terjaga betul2 dah nak sampai rumah.

Aku ambil kereta jam 2 pagi, dan sampai pd jam 225pagi. Laju juga la bawa malam2.

Apa pun, jutaan tabik spring pada Hj khalid yang steady bawa van sorang2 dari seremban ke dungun 6 jam, rest 1jam setengah, dan balik 6 jam. Jasamu dikenang...

Apa yang misteri? tak ada pun... hehe

Life and death

Dua minggu lepas, in-laws aku ada menerima ahli baru keluarga. Pertambahan ini diharapkan dapat menambah lagi bilangan ahli secara eksponen, kuasa 2.

Sabtu lepas, sempat la aku pergi kenduri kahwin di PD. Sempat jumpa ayah, umi, adik beradik dan kawan2 yang tak berapa ramai, sebab ni kenduri kahwin abang ipar aku.

Hari selasa, aku nak jumpa mak mertua aku di seremban, tapi tiba2 mendapat tahu bapa mertua kawan aku dah meninggal, jadi aku pun tak pergi la ke seremban. Jadi, malam tu juga aku pergi la masjid lama teluk kemang, solat jenazah dan kebumi. First time aku pergi kebumi jenazah malam. Jarang orang buat.Malam yang sama, mak kepada pak mertua aku a.k.a wan khatijah dibawa balik ke seremban selepas sesi rawatan di hospital ampang dan HUKM kerana serangan strok.

Hari rabu, lepas kerja, aku ke Seremban, ada la benda2 nak bincang sikit dengan parent in laws aku. Malam tu, aku balik ke PD, walaupun mak mertua aku nasihat tidur di Seremban aje. Ada juga adik2 ipar aku (Muiz, Aishah, Aliya) dan cousin derang, Nida.

Pagi esok, lepas solat subuh, aku tengok ada sms dari isteri aku, Abg wan dah meninggal. Aku pun heran, abg wan mana pula. Wan saiful ke, wan mana nih. Sehingga la aku dapat mesej dari adik ipar aku Aishah, " Wan kahtijah telah pulang ke rahmatullah". Barulah aku faham, rupanya wan dah meninggal. Aku pun terus ke Seremban.

On the way, aku sempat call maryam. Macam2 versi la yang diceritakan. Sampai sahaja di seremban, aku duduk sekejap, dan tak berapa lama, terus ambil IC wan, dengan satu surat discharge HUKM bawa ke balai Polis. Surat tu tak perlu pun sebenarnya, cuma nak memudahkan proses, kalau polis tanya sakit apa.

Aku ajak juga adik2 ipar aku kalau nak ikut, nak belajar prosedur. Tapi memandangkan masing2 ada hal masing2, aku pun pergi la ke balai polis paroi. Aku pun tak ingat kat mana, jadi berhenti tepi jalan tanya sorang akak ni. Dia pun tunjukkan arah dengan jelas, dalam accent Nogori. cakap minang la.

Aku pergi balai polis, ada sorang anggota polis bertudung dan cun tengah jaga kaunter. Aku pun buat la laporan kematian. Aku bagi la IC wan, dan lepas tu dia tanya la aku beberapa perkara, termasuk la nombor telefon aku. Dia tanya aku, nenek ni meniggal sakit apa, aku jawab la susah bernafas ke asphyxiation, tapi dia cakap dia tulis sakit tua sajalah. Dia tanya kalau nenek ni bekerja, mana la tau kaya raya jadi ada motif jenayah. Aku cakap takde apa. Dia tanya hubungan aku dengan si mati, dan aku kata "yang meninggal ni nenek kepada isteri saya". Jadi mula-mula dia nak tulis nenek mertua, tapi lepas tu dia nak tulis cucu menantu, tapi bos dia tegur, jadi dia tulis cucu sahaja.

Lepas tu, aku pun balik dengan dapat surat daftar kematian, bersama dengan permit menguburkan jenazah. Memandangkan banyak benda tak setel lagi aku pun keluar balik, cari kedai fotostat nak buat salinan surat2 tu. Tapi pagi buta, mana ada kedai buka. Ada satu kedai tu, aku pergi pasal dia tulis signboard besar2 PHOTOSTAT tapi tak ada mesin. Bodoh, kalau tak ada, buang la singboard tu. Lepas tu aku pergi fotostat kat 7Eleven. Mahal, tapi apakan daya.

Aku balik ke rumah, dah ramai orang. Cik Su dah call on speakerphone, baca surah yasin nangis2. Tak lama kemudian, datanglah team orang mandikan jenazah. Aku rasa lama betul depa mandikan. Time aku mandikan tokwan dulu, kejap je.

Lepas tu, depa kafankan dan solatkan jenazah. Plan asal, aku ingat nak sampai takat tu aje, pasal aku ada meeting kat PD. Tapi tengok2, tak ada orang nak naik van jenazah. Aku tanya pakcik van tu, Hj Shafie, kalau pergi hari ni, balik bila? Dia cakap, sampai sana, rehat satu jam, terus balik. So, aku pun setuju, naik van jenazah ke dungun.. kami bertolak jam 12 tengah hari...

Allah, Herald and Churches

Ok, let's look at what the issue is. Herald (the catholics newspaper) wants to use word Allah in their paper. Ok, Herald only produces 10000 copies a month, and they are distributed in churches throughout the country only. To get one, you don't need to pay. You can put some money in the donation box.

OK, out of the 10000 copy, only 2 pages out of 10 is in Malay, and the rest is in english. And out of the 10000 copies, I don't think every buyer reads them.

Anyway, so in 2 pages, how many times can they repeat the word Allah that it can confuse muslims.

Recently, in Bangsar, some more stupid people were going around smashing cars with cross inside. Crazy. Typical UMNO style in PRK. I am not accusing anyone, but can we see the pattern?

OK, some stupid blokes have been going around burning churches. Why I am calling them stupid is because these people have been burning THE WRONG CHURCHES. Real 1Malaysia category of stupidity. Why burn non-catholics church. If you are so mad etc, at least show some brain by knowing how to identify catholics church, that is really related to the herald issue.

While the media has been focusing the Allah issue, few things have been eclipsed..
1) Price hike for sugar, bread etc
2) Gov't cut the food subsidy for boarding school from 250 days to 200 days, and triple the food fare.
3) Anybody cares for the jet engine anymore?
4) Kedah is top of league
5) My wife's brother got married

PISSED OFF

Today I got locked out of office. With my shoes, helmet and access card inside, I had to call the security. I told them I could not pick up the key.

Half an hour later, someone came to me and said security asked me to go and pick up the key from them. I called them again, and said I cannot go. And they said they don't have the manpower to send the key. They have only FOUR personnel. I said it is a two minutes job. Drive (drive, not cycle), unlock the door, drive back. He said ' you cakap senang la'.

So now, I am in the middle of breaking 2 rules. One is going to the guardhouse with selipar surau and no helmet. The other is breaking in through the window.

And I chose the second one. Maybe I should have chosen the first one making a bolder statement. But I guess, if people do not want to help you, what else can you do. I may get charged under the company rules for breaking the law but hey, I do not care anymore. How am I supposed to care, when I am in a position of breaking the rules regardless of what I do.

Personal Life

I just started my married life with Siti Maryam... a totally new experience.. had to learn to share my spacious bed with a stranger...

Tok Wan passed away in the summer months of the northern hemisphere (since malaysia has summer and daylight saving throughout the year).

Career

I passed the pressure piping examination and got my second API certification in January

I was consumed with Corrosion Under Insulation study and deadlines the first half of 2009, that nothing else seemed important.

Being assigned with doing SRBI was one of the best experience I have had with Shell.

Being focal point for material and corrosion was also an enjoyable experience.

Set up several corrosion awareness training for the whole refinery, which was attended by almost all junior staff.

I became active in quality audit again...

And I seemed to quiet in the eyes of the bosses, hence...

Still have not passed the steam boiler engineer Gr II certification.

Regardless, I am happy with I am doing

And this year's great plan will be passing API571 & API580 plus the steam engineer plus getting my IR. Big year 2010.

Airasia

I started becoming a regular airasia passenger. If only they had something like 'frequent flyer' programme, I may have collected enough points to go around the world.

I started accepting the fact that airasia and flight delays are inseparable terms. Frequent flyer like me can still feel good if the delay is more than 2 hours, as we'd be entitled to RM200 voucher, which I'd use for the next purchase. Random europeans popping up in Asia: sorry that the voucher got wasted. You should have sold them on e-bay.

What pissed me off most was when the delay was 1 hr and 50 mins. damn damn.

I later learned that MAS had also embarked on cheap ticket, so yeay, I switched to MAS from time to time.

Sports

Last year, I just did normal running now and then, and played football when there was opportunity. Sadly, being a weekend husband did not allow me to do much sports since I worked till maghrib to keep the weekends free.

Newcastle surprisingly got relegated, but are on the way of coming back.

Travels

Highlight for 2009 was travelling, as I spent 6 weeks abroad.

4 in Australia (work related) where I celebrated hari raya plus going around victoria & great ocean road.

Special thanks to Ihsan who managed to mengepau me when he was in Geelong, and brought along some baklava with him.

At least we spotted some Koalas, and understood why this animal are going to extinct. It is survival of the fittest, and they don't seem fit at all

2 weeks in Turkey backpacking. Great experience. Went to cappadocia to see how nature eroded the stone (like in great ocean road), and how people ran into the caves to keep their faith. Well honestly I don't if that was christian as in the trinity faith or unity faith, but we should not ruled the unitarian out, since they were there before the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

Politics

2009 was full of by-elections, including one in my constituency, Bagan Pinang. PR won most of them, but saw the backlash, in Bagan Pinang. Almost got interviewed by TV9 hot reporter with tudung, when she interviewed early voters that day. Regardless, it was a good experience, i mean the voting and the election, and not the reporter.

PR also had their conference, and PKR had established themselves to be sort of the saviour of the people (even though their candidates crossed over etc). PAS on the other hand lost significant trust from the public, especially due to the unity government issue, and further attack on TG Nik Aziz. Sad.

Others

Got the news that my sister's husband's wife and his brother-in-law's wife (biras) are pregnant. So, we'd be expecting 2 babies in the family in 2010.

2009 ended with the court ruling allowing the Herald Tribune, and christian communal newspaper to use the word Allah in their publication. Hmm, personally, I do not see the problem since the Christian's God and Muslims God and Jewish God is the same Allah. That's why sembelihan ahli kitab adalah halal.

However, I do not want to comment much, since another group will be calling me apostate etc.

A Famosa Resort: Melaka

Today I went to A Famosa Resort, Melaka.

So it was the site for the latest BIGGEST LOSER ASIA TV programme.

I saw few people, they look tiny enough from far. I guess, they have lost some weight.

Upon closer inspection... well I am not sure about the tiny-ness anymore..

Well, I think I saw these contestants named David Gurnani & Marilyn Tay( I checked their name on the web, but I really am not sure)... Whatever, you can try bet on these 2 people staying longer, and you may make some profit...

OK, off to bed

Maryam: bagus ek derang ni main, laju.

Aku: (senyum)

Maryam: wah, laju la derang main, attack2 je goal.

Aku: (senyum)

Maryam: cepat betul derang main.. asyik goal je..

Aku: memang la, ni kan highlight, memang la banyak goal..

Malaysia Cup Final Kelantan 1-3 Negeri Sembilan

Just finished watching the final. It was an excellent game. I have to admit that the players played well, and the football was good. I am happy that the NS player responded to the challenge. The raised the standard of their play.

Compared to the game I watched last week, NS team responded well. Their first touches were excellent, and they seemed to have enough ideas to create chances... I was really impressed by few NS players..

1) Hairuddin Omar: NS made the right decision by taking this player on loan. He was superb throughout. He was technically superior than most other NS player, and his work rate was excellent. Good that he got his reward by scoring the 2nd goal.

2) NS 1st goal scorer (forgot the name). He played well tirelessly. The first goal was quite weird, however, he was quick to react. He even contributed the penalty, from which Zaquan Adha scored.

3) NS no 6: He is a damn hardworking player. Got yellow carded in the end, which he deserved, but who cares. He has been working all over the pitch, and never stopped running when his service was required.

4) The chinaman defender.

5) IDRIS KARIM. Somehow, he played much better, and made use of both his feet (instead of using just the left one like last time). At least he passed and tackled using his right, even though shooting is quite difficult. Anyway, putting him slightly behind seems to stabilise the team, which allows hairuddin to roam the space behind the striker.

I think, overall the team played well, although I was not happy that Zaquan took the penalty kick. I do not have personal vendetta (like mr snomed3 said about me) against him, just that I hate seeing footballers going for the glamorous world ( like this twin, one kawin lari with Rita Rudaini, and the other dating Ayu Raudhah). I mean, focus on football. Have you heard Hairuddin dating celebrities like that? Or Indra Putra? I mean, focus on your football, not your balls....

Anyway, I am happy that the better team won. NS managed to snuff out Indra Putra tonight, although finally we saw what Indra was capable of doing...

Just some points for improvement...

1) Volley/ first timer.. We hardly seen malaysian being able to keep the ball low and on target on the first touch.. I think it's all about technique. I remember watching Kedah v Selangor, the import guy did just that and scored a goal. A local guy also scored in similar fashion. I really think malaysian players need to improve on this..

2) First touches.. although tonight was better than the game the week before...

3) Free kick.. The chance that the ball gets lifted above the wall is slim.. I think we need to work on the free kick. But what Indra did was awesome..

Anyway, one thing that worries me was the distinctive quality of Indra/ Hairuddin n co. These players were from the Skuad olimpik (If I am not mistaken), and seems that after the project, players from the team became backbone to their individual club. It is worrying to see these people go without a suitable replacement..

Lastly, majulah sukan untuk negara...

Bola Sepak Lagi: Semi Final II

Ok, so semalam berlangsunglah separuh akhir kedua antara Terengganu vs N.9 dan Perlis v Kelantan.

Perlis v Kelantan ended with 3-1 win for Kelantan. I watched part of it on the TV at kampung. There was one incident when a firecracker was thrown from the perlis supporters' side, which landed right next to a player's head. who was lying on the ground injured. I think he should have gone deaf now. Silly supporters...

Negri finally stepped up to win convincingly in terengganu. 3-1. And Zaquan Adha scored twice. Well, he is good. I just wished that he got the supply the week before and scored more goals at home. From the news that I read, I did not see Idris Karim's name. I assume it was just like the week before, Negri played better when they deployed Hairuddin in the attacking mid position instead of playing up front, and instead of playing that one-legged man.

I still remembered going to the U15/U17 tournaments more than 10 years ago, and there are few names that I could still remember.

Anyway, I am thinking of going to Bukit Jalil to watch the final. On the second thought, I may not do so, bearing in mind what happened after the match between these 2 teams earlier this year. Riot, burned cars, bla bla bla. So, I think I'd take the safer bet, safer as in safe from physical harm, by watching from home, hoping that both sides would display the good football they are capable of.

And some N9 may have been pissed off by my earlier remarks. Well, if footballer choose to be professional, they have to deal with being glamour, hence people criticising right and left. Stop being a crybaby. Instead, prove people wrong by performing on the pitch, instead of creating headlines by kahwin lari etc.

I also hope the supporters are more critical. The team can win many games, but if they do not show any technical improvement, supporters should make noise. Ask for more, since we pay to watch them play. If they are unhappy, then tell them to stop playing professional football. Our football has suffered for too long.

Let's hope the final will be a new dawn for malaysian football in terms of quality and performance.

Negeri Sembilan v Terengganu

Last tuesday, having nothing much to do, I went to Stadium Paroi to watch the football match between NS & T'ganu.

IT WAS A REALLY CRAPPY MATCH

Terengganu seems technically more superior, but defended all throughout the game. Negeri Sembilan played a really rubbish game. Apart from Hairuddin Omar, the rest was not technically sound. One Indian fellow No 6 was alright, he ran all over the pitch.

There was one Negri player, long haired. The moment he got the ball, I had identified (an amateur's eye like mine could also) that he cannot shoot with his right foot. Being the attacking mid, that is a real handicap. Anyway, in the second half, he tried shooting with his right foot, and amusingly, he missed the ball, and twisted his ankle. Hahaha... Mind you, these people are professional. They should be able to make decent shot with both feet, just like an engineer like myself is supposed to be able to perform multiplication and division, differentiation & integration. You cannot just be able to do one but not the other.

One thing I saw was the twin. The little brother (striker) and older brother (defender). I was told that both of them wanted to play striker, but the coach say the older one not as good as striker, so told him to play defender instead. FYI, the older one got kahwin lari with Rita Rudaini in Thailand.

The final score was 1-0. And the goal was scored by Rita Rudaini's husband (Of course running across the field to score goal is not that difficult for someone who had run across the border to get married). It was a crap goal, for a crap match. Despite all the efforts, it despised me that it was Rita's husband that scored. Damn, extra boost for his ego. I would have hoped the little brother or someone else score.

The quality of the game is well below the standard displayed in Kedah v Selangor match I went to last year.

Lousy game played by Negri eventhough they won against Tganu. I dont think N9 has the quality to win the Piala Malaysia. You have a professional player who cannot shoot with his right foot. That is rubbish

I got this honest reply, for being honest:

To which I replied:

Malaysian football don’t need me. True.
I go to the stadium once in a blue moon. True.
i stick to EPL. False. I follow good football, and that includes english league 2 if it is good.

Most of the time, I watch malaysian football on tele. I was really excited watching last year final Kedah vs Selangor.

OK, regardless of who we support, we have to admit the game was bad. No free flow of football, weird refereeing decision.

We malaysians, have to admit that we are poor at techniques, poor at fitness. Look at the first touches. Apart from Hairuddin & Adha. Look at the level of fitness.

We have to admit, that at school, we were never taught the right technique. We have fields in almost every school, play 7 times a week, but why can’t we improve? The europeans play once a week. Once a week, and the school has to pay to use the facility. But how come once a week is better than 7 times a week?

All these are things we need to ponder. My family are great fans of malaysian football. We never missed the weekend malaysian football on the tele. I went to Negri wanted to support N9, but the game was bad. It was just bad, and we have to admit that.

I still do not see why people are not willing to admit that the state of our local football, -like our ex-national coach said- is not football. It is like main petang-petang back in schooldays.

Even the ever-full-of-himself Alex Ferguson can admit if his team play badly. The captain would even apologise. Are we really that good that we can never admit that we have a bad game?

Well, Mr toilet education, when in universities, staff and students have different toilets. This 1toilet concept will make sure everyone pee the same, and smell the same. Like kata pepatah, guru kencing berdiri, murid kencing berlari.

‘1Toilet’ plan to let teachers and students mingle freely

KUALA TERENGGANU: The state government will introduce a “1Toilet” policy in a move to liberalise education, where teachers – and even principals – will soon have to share toilets with their students.

State Education, Higher Learning, Human Resource, Science and Technology Committee chairman Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said the policy was mooted in line with the 1Malaysia concept, and teachers and students could have a feeling of “oneness”.

“We want students to have a sense of belonging that we believe would inspire them to excel further in their education.

“When students share the toilets with the teacher, they (students) will believe that they are on par with academicians and this automatically invokes a sense of being important to an organisation, which, in this case, is the school,” he said here yesterday.

“We are not compelling the school authorities to apply the policy. It is their prerogative,” said Ahmad Razif.

“So far, we have one school in Hulu Terengganu that has implemented the policy a few days ago. It has received positive feedback from the school management although it is still premature for us to evaluate its efficiency,” he said.

Ahmad Razif said that under the policy, teachers and students would also be encouraged to sit within a common space at school canteens during recess.

“This means that teachers and students will mingle freely during recess,” he said.

Ahmad Razif said the policy had initially been proposed by Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said earlier this year but that it took some time for it to be properly drafted.

On another matter, Ahmad Razif said the state government would continue to send students to pursue medicine and dentistry in recognised universities in Indonesia.

“We are looking into the option of sending our students to universities in areas classified as non-earthquake prone areas in Indonesia,” he said.

Ahmad Razif said the state government was also in the midst of discussions with officials from University Padjadjaran of Bandung on the possibility of sending Terengganu students for medical courses there.

He said other countries that the state government was planning to send their medical undergraduates next year were Poland and Russia.

Flying Back

I am at the hotel lobby, waiting for the taxi to the airport.

Well, life has been different over here. I am glad I came, mainly just for a change of air.

Things are different, and they just are... How people behave themselves, greet each other, thank one another.. trust.. all these tiny things really make big difference in people daily lives, especially for us who malaysians who are not used to it.

In my last week, I moved into the Sheraton Hotel next door. I had to leave early every morning, making it impossible for me to enjoy the breakfast. Anyway, I like the culture, and the welcoming attitude of people over here. The rule is simple. If you can benefit the nation, you are welcome. If you cannot, then maybe this is not the place for you.

On the downside, I think the australians eat too much. It really is.. They eat more than malaysians, and double that of the British.

Anyway... Hopefully I'd be back in Malaysia tonight, and jump straight into the PAS-UMNO battle for the state assembly seat.

Menilai Mentaliti Puak Ultra UMNO

Beberapa ketika ini, aku sengaja pergi menyinggah blog-blog ultra UMNO. Antara beberapa perkara yang aku perasan:

1) Pantang dengar Al-Quran & Hadis: Bagi mereka ini, ayat al-quran dan hadis ini tak boleh guna untuk bicara. Pantang. Kalau guna, ibarat mubaligh kristian. Jadi simpan dalam rumah sahaja. Kalau diajak berhujah guna Al-Quran & hadis, memang mereka marah. Sebab tu mereka marah bila Cina DAP boleh quote ayat Al-Quran, walaupun tak sempurna. Mungkin bagi mereka, Al-Quran hanya pada tilawah sahaja. Dari cara bercakap pun, kita tahu tahap pengetahuan mereka bab Hadis SANGAT LEMAH. Ada yang mengatakan tak semua hadis melalui sahabat (kalau tak lalu sahabat, datang dari siapa?)

2) Tidak pandai berhujah menggunakan akal: Bila berhujah, mereka sangat emosional. Bila ada orang yang tidak bersetuju dengan pendapat mereka, akan keluar ayat seperti " Kau tak faham sebab kau bodoh". Tiada usaha untuk memahamkan.

3) Gemar melabel dan memberi nama: Pelbagai gelaran diberikan kepada pimpinan PAS, PKR & DAP. Nama yang diguna pula, astaghfirullah, sangat lah tidak menunjukkan ciri ketamadunan.

4) Bersangka Buruk: Andai ada yang berbeza pendapat, mereka akan bersangka buruk pada orang tersebut. Mereka ini akan dimarah dan dimaki. Jika yang berbeza tadi menunjukkan ciri-ciri cenderung pada UMNO, barulah mungkin boleh berbincang.

5) Melihat hidup ini terpisah dari ibadah: Mereka lihat, perjalanan hidup ini adalah satu kehidupan, dan ibadah pula dalam masjid. Ibadah terhad pada rutin baca quran, solat, zanji, selawat, sambutan maulidurrasul, baca yasin, dan aktiviti yang bersangkut paut.

6) Percaya UMNO jahat, tetapi bukan terjahat: Mereka tahu UMNO korup, makan duit rakyat dan sebagainya, tetapi tidak melihat perkara tersebut sebagai dosa besar.

7) Percaya PAS jual agama, dan paling jahat: PAS dianggap menggunakan islam untuk mendapatkan kuasa politik, dan ini dikira menjual agama.

8) Lemah pengetahuan sirah: Melihat cara mereka bersembang, pengetahuan mereka tentang sirah Nabi SANGAT LEMAH. Ini kembali kepada pengetahuan Al Quran dan hadis tadi.

9) Racist: Bersifat perkauman yang sangat ekstrim.

Ada banyak lagi yang boleh dicoretkan di sini. Cuma apa yang cuba disampaikan adalah perjalanan dakwah itu masih jauh.

Why PAS cannot win postal votes in Bagan Pinang

Well, since many people have commented on the issue, let me just pen down my thoughts.

1) SPR has no jurisdictions over army & camp.
2) Army camp is under the jurisdiction of the Camp Commanding Officer.
3) Camp Commanding Officer will assign another officer that will be responsible for postal votes, and this officer does not report to SPR.
4) The appointed officer will have almost total control of the running of the postal voting sessions.
5) In the last election, the officer is a strong UMNO supporter. He even had an UMNO flag proudly waving in front of his house.

Come on, at least give us an officer that can be JUJUR and will run the election according to the rules. I don't really care what his stand is, but we want one man who is honest enough to run the election.

And honesty is something scarce in UMNO...

Tea & I

This morning, the weather was a little bit chilly and windy.
I rushed myself back into the office, and prepared a mug of tea.

The tea really reminded me of my student days. Back in my 3rd and 4th year, I spent most of time on weekdays in the NDT/ Vibration Lab in the Queen's Building of the University of Bristol. My lab partner was Adam Bowler, and there were couple more PhD students like Sayeed (Bangladeshi), George (Greek), Angela (French). There were also researches like Ruth & Hee.

Anyway, it was always cold in the lab, and Adam & I always make some tea for ourselves. Adam was always the one preparing tea, whereas me bringing in some biscuits or something else that will go along with it. Adam always had it with 1 sugar, and I with 2. However, there were times when sugar was not available, and somehow we ended up having tea without sugar.

Over time,I have developed the taste for tea without sugar. Until today, I drink tea without sugar, as I do not see the need for sugar.

Well, again, everytime I have tea in a chilly weather, it will remind me of the Tetley tea in the NDT lab. What a reminiscence.

I still wonder why there are so many attractive women become lesbian, and muscular man become gay. Gosh, we are killing the mankind by doing so. If the trend goes on, mankind will face extinction.

Hari Raya at Geelong

Ok, so Raya came. The final iftar was organised at a singaporean-malay, Abg azad who also holds Australian citizenship. It was sad to see so many people enjoyed the food and prayed maghrib very late.

Ihsan came over, and arrived quite late. I had fallen asleep, and alhamdulillah, the phone woke me up so that I could pick him up.

Working on last day of ramadhan

On eid, we prayed at the Geelong Mosque. There was a little confusion regarding the coordination since the hall was small, and there was overflow of people, and the imam was praying somewhere else, and the microphone did not really work. Well, it is only solat sunat, so no big fuss. After prayer, we went to an open house at Bro Wan Akmal's garden (it was bloody chilly) and later went around Geelong, Queenscliff, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, and Serendip at Lara to see the Kangaroos.

Skip Skip Now Great Ocean Road

Ok, let met skip on the life over here. Life is cold, we come to work at 7, we go home by 530. Depending on availability of the car, I'd go to tarawih about 4km away. The first night over here, I walked the distance, and realised it was quite far. Considering the weather and my own safety, I decided not to do it again.

Anyway, on saturday, I went to melbourne to join the qiamullail at the Islamic centre in melbourne. I performed tarawih at the malaysia hall, and met some old friends, and made few new friends over there.

Then I went to qiam at the islamic centre. It was really something, and the imam took 30minutes to perform 2 rakaats. The recitation was superb that you did not feel tired.

Anyway, I took the first train back to Geelong, and was back here by 930am. At 10am, Bob & I took off to the Great Ocean Road.

Life at Geelong 3

Once arrived at the apartment, I just fell asleep. Few hours later, I woke up to pray Zuhur, and went to Coles to buy some groceries. I also bought a mobile phone to use in Geelong. It is locked to the network, but I don't think that is a problem since people in LowYat can unlock it once we are back in Malaysia.

Bob and I did not do much that day. We went to the tourist info centre several times to ask for few things, and also for a mosque/ islamic centre.

That afternoon, I walked to the centre about 4km away. I wish I had a bicycle.

Anyway, met the imam and few malaysians overthere. The malaysian community here is not big, so is the muslim community. There is only one masjid here, and a number of halal restaurants (kebab, curry house). The malaysian brother, nizam, took me to their house for a decent malay meal.

I got home around 10pm. It was quite late, considering subuh is at 5am. We had some trouble with the heater in the lounge, so we could not stay there for long. I decided to go to bed rather early.

Life at Geelong 2

I boarded the flight, and was directed to the economy class. Remember, my boarding pass was self checked in, and it does not have the business class colour. I had to argue with the attendant, and only then he allowed me to go to the business class door. The steward was alright, he immediately checked my pass, and showed me to the seat.

I sat next to a man of chinese descendants. He has some business in Melbourne and commutes regularly between Melbourne and KL.

I had trouble trying to get some sleep. The stewardess was busy serving us with food, and by the time I finished everyting, it was already 11pm malaysian time. That is 1am Melbourne time.

I told her to wake me up for sahur. She did just that, and she woke me up to have sahur before Fajr melbourne time. However, the flight has not even reached Adelaide. Since it was served already, I ate them, and waiting for the Subuh, I watched inflight entertainment movie: Angels and Demons. Bloody hell, I finished that even before Subuh. So damn, too early for sahur.

I prayed subuh in flight, and we landed about half an hour afterwards. We retrieve our luggage from the carousel rather quickly, got sniffed by the dog with calibrated nose, and clear the customs. We were already out by 630am.

The first thing I did was step out of the airport to have a feel of the chill air.. It really reminded me of my days in Bristol.

We waited for the Geelong inspection manager to come and greet us. We texted him, but did not get any reply. So we waited.

Fortunately, he looked at the internet, and realised we have arrived, so he rushed to the airport. One thing we later realised was that he gave us a wrong mobile number.

He came and took us to Geelong...

Continued from last friday..

Yes, we had the Bagan Pinang rep passed away.

The following day, I attended my Kuliah Falsafah Islam, and later went back to PD to pack my stuff. On the way, I stopped by a friend's house for a election preparation meeting.

Rushed back, packed my stuff, tidied the house (so that it can be used by petugas pilihanraya), then I left for the airport.

At the airport, I was told to do self check-in. and I was told to do it rather rudely by the staff overthere. Then, my friend arrived, and he was directed to the special counter since he was on Business Class. When I told him I was on business too, the staff panicked and told me he would have directed me to the counter too if he knew I was on Business.

OK, had iftar at the airport, and bade farewell and went to the MAS Golden Lounge.

Did not spend much time overthere, I boarded the flight...

What an eventful day

Today has been eventful... thank you..

OK, that's a little bit too short.

Ok, let me skip all the wake-up-brush-teeth part, I led the Fajr prayer, and went to work.

I stopped at the Pejabat Daerah to complaint about my water bills. I was quite pissed off, considering I had been making the same complaint every month, and every time, there was no officer to entertain me, and the clerical staff was not really friendly.

This time, the officer was there. As I was about to open the anger floodgate, the officer turned around, and hey, he's my neighbour and he even addressed me by my name.. "ha, ada apa ki?". Wow, all the anger went away, and I see a realistic solution to the long standing issue of my water bills.

Anyway, next, I went to work. This time, I left the key locked in the car. Well, had to spend some time unlocking the car, and after few phonecalls and several attempts, that was sorted.

Later, went to Pejabat Agama to assist a friend with is application to get married. No, it's not about me getting married again..

For those who do not know, one demo happened after recent Solat Jumuah at Masjid Shah Alam, and the demonstrants walked from the Masjid to the MB's office.

OK, I know there is frustration etc, but is it religiously-justified to drag, and step the cow head? Even in Islam, you should respect animal that has sacrificed for your benefit.

Any insult to Hindu in Malaysia, you may not see any backlash. But there is one thing you have to realise. There are extremists in India who cares for nothing but the 'sanctity' of their religion. The backlash will be felt by our muslim brothers in India.

Mr Ismail Sabri talked about blood being spilled. I ask Mr Ismail Sabri, are you willing to go to India to defend our muslim brothers over there?

Mr Mahyuddin Manaf, you said the individual who brought the cow head was an exremist. Why you also took part and stepped on the head?

You guys should look at the bigger picture. Yes, you may think you are the king over here. Let's not do something stupid, that thousands of our brothers could be sacrificed, simply because you are thinking of defending Islam.

I am quite a pro demonstration myself. In fact, I have joined a number of them over the past few years. But that is in no way a justification for insulting others' religion. A religious man should respect the sanctity of any other religious institutions.

Hukuman secara fizikal merupakan langkah terakhir dalam melaksanakan undang-undang jenayah syariah terhadap pesalah terutama wanita.

Islam lebih mengutamakan tarbiah secara berhemah terhadap pesalah terbabit supaya mereka lebih sedar dengan kesalahan dilakukan.

Rasa simpati, belas kasihan serta tarbiah merupakan intipati di dalam Islam dan itu yang diamalkan oleh junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad SAW.

*Ketua Hakim Syarie Pahang, Datuk Abdul Rahman Yunus memberi jaminan menyemak semula enakmen hukuman sebat atas kesalahan minum arak selepas Aidilfitri ini yang turut membabitkan kes Kartika.

KUALA LUMPUR 25 Ogos – Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak berkata, menjatuhkan hukuman secara fizikal merupakan langkah terakhir dalam melaksanakan undang-undang jenayah syariah terhadap pesalah terutama golongan wanita.

Perdana Menteri berkata, Islam lebih mengutamakan tarbiah secara berhemah terhadap pesalah supaya mereka lebih sedar dengan kesalahan yang telah dilakukan sebelum ini.

“Rasa simpati, belas kasihan serta tarbiah merupakan inti pati dalam Islam dan itu yang diamalkan oleh junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad SAW.

“Oleh itu, apabila mengenakan hukuman (terhadap pesalah) proses tarbiah sepatutnya lebih penting berbanding hukuman fizikal kerana ia sejajar dengan sifat Islam yang simpati dan belas kasihan kepada umatnya,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika berucap pada majlis perasmian sambutan Hari Wanita Peringkat Kebangsaan di Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur (KLCC) di sini malam ini.

Turut hadir isterinya, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor; isteri Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Puan Seri Norainee Abdul Rahman; dan Menteri Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat, Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.

Dalam pada itu, Najib turut menyentuh mengenai wanita yang sering menjadi mangsa dalam kes-kes kekeluargaan seperti nafkah dan penceraian.

“Dalam kita melaksanakan hukum syariah terlalu banyak kes nafkah, cerai dan sebagainya yang mana wanita sering jadi mangsa.

“Ini kerana tiada kerja-kerja penguatkuasaan dalam menguatkuasakan keputusan yang telah dibuat oleh mahkamah syariah,” jelasnya.

Dalam perkembangan lain, Perdana Menteri menyatakan komitmen kerajaan untuk memastikan kuota 30 peratus golongan wanita sebagai pembuat keputusan tercapai.

Menurutnya, ia boleh dicapai kerana wanita juga mempunyai kebolehan sama dengan lelaki malah dalam beberapa bidang bilangan mereka lebih ramai antaranya penuntut di institusi pengajian tinggi (IPT).

“Berdasarkan rekod jumlah wanita di IPT kira-kira 65 peratus. Begitu juga dengan beberapa kementerian yang mana kita dapati jumlah mereka lebih ramai daripada lelaki,” katanya.

Mengenai pelancaran Dasar Wanita Negara malam ini, Najib berkata, terdapat beberapa perkara pokok yang harus diberi tumpuan.

“Pertama, persekitaran yang kondusif perlu dibentuk dalam usaha memastikan peranan wanita menjadi lebih aktif serta bebas daripada unsur-unsur diskriminasi.

“Satu lagi perkara yang perlu diberi penekanan ialah keperluan membenarkan wanita bekerja dalam waktu yang lebih fleksibel selain menggalakkan kewujudan pusat asuhan kanak-kanak di tempat kerja,” katanya.

I was on my way home from KL tonight at roughly 1030pm.

After Nilai exit, close to Seremban R&R, there was a huge traffic jam.

I found few cars have had accidents, broken lights etc. I was sure this was because of the sudden slow down.

Few kilometers ahead, more shattered lights and bumpers, and more sign of accidents. And a couple of ambulances with the sirens moving here and there.

What actually happened? Full picture came about a couple more kilometers ahead, when a cherry picker truck was spotted blocking the slowest lane of the three lanes, and some personnel were noted doing maintenance.

STUPID PLUS? Why do you give discount after 12 until 5am? Because you want to encourage people to avoid congestion at rush hour.

Why do you have to be so stupid doing maintenance on a friday night? dont you have data that show people travel a lot more on friday evening and monday morning? and why can't you do it during your happy hour? the 12 to 5 thingy?

Cant your engineers think? cant you see how many accidents have you caused?

Bodoh and Bodoh. Tu la, kecik2 tak nak mampus, besar2 susahkan orang, dan sampai ada orang lain plak mampus accident.

Assalamualaikum.

I just came back from the moonsighting event at Teluk Kemang. A group of people gathered at Baitul Hilal in Batu 8 Port Dickson to observe if new moon was born. As expected, it was not visible, so we will complete the month of shaaban tomorrow.

On the way back, I and Azhan stopped at masjid Jamek PD, where a majlis bacaan yassin dan solat hajat was organised for UPSR candidates. I observed 2 kids playing while praying isha', and the following happened:

Aku (sambil menggenggam tangan Budak A): Kenapa solat main2?
Budak A: Dia (sambil tunjuk budak B) kacau saya, dia pijak kaki saya.
Budak B: Mana ada, dia tolak-tolak saya.
Aku: Bla bla bla.. macam mana doa nak terima.. solat main2..

Aku (tengok budak2 tu dah nak nangis): macam ni lah, pakcik nak denda. Pakcik taknak pukul, taknak cubit. pakcik nak, kamu bogel, jalan keliling masjid.. (main2 je)
Aku: pakcik nak, kamu solat balik. Kamu (sambil tunjuk budak A) imam, dia (budak B) makmum
Budak A: saya tak pandai, tolong la pakcik, saya tak tau.
Aku: Ok Kamu (sambil tunjuk budak B) imam, dia (budak A) makmum..
Budak B: ala, saya pun tak pandai, tolong la pakcik
Budak A: tolong la pakcik, kitorang semayang sendiri-sendiri la..

Ekspo Di Ambang Ramadhan

Alhamdulillah, baru-baru ini, satu ekspo Di Ambang Ramadhan telah berjaya diadakan di Dataran Senawang. Program ini adalah anjuran Pusat Khidmat DUN Paroi, di bawah kendalian Exco Penerangan DPPN9, Saudara Husaini, dibantu rakan-rakan dari Jemaah Islah Malaysia (JIM), PASTI, Nisa' dan NGO-NGO lain. Wakil DPPTK sempat berkunjung ke Ekspo tersebut.

Pada malam pertama, sesi tayangan video air mata dan darah palestin telah diadakan. Memandangkan ia adalah slot pembuka, kehadiran sedikit mengecewakan. Pun begitu, video tersebut menceritakan penderitaan saudara-saudara islam di Palestin, dan sememangnya sangat menginsafkan.

Pada siang hari sabtu, pelbagai aktiviti diadakan untuk orang dewasa dan kanak-kanak. Antaranya ialah khidmat guaman percuma. Malam kedua, sesi forum telah diadakan dengan dibarisi Panel yang berkaliber seperti Ust Khusyairi dan Ustazah Nik Nor Seha. Forum yang dipengerusikan Ustaz Khairul Anuar Wafa ini telah dibanjiri lebih 200 orang pengunjung. Selain membincangkan hikmah puasa, forum ini juga turut menyentuh isu umat seperti perpaduan dan sebagainya.

Hari ketiga, ahad, program diisi dengan pertandingan untuk kanak-kanak, dan pertandingan explorace dan motosikal perlahan bagi orang dewasa. Sebelah malamnya, pengunjung disajikan dengan teater 'Menunggu Kata Dari Tuhan' arahan saudara Dinsman. Teater ini mengisahkan monolog yang dilalui Sahabat Nabi s.a.w iaitu Kaab bin Malik yang dipulaukan oleh umat Islam berikutan kelengahan beliau turut sama ke medan Tabuk. Watak Kaab yang dilakonkan Saudara Sabri Yunus, sememangnya berjaya dimainkan dengan baik, dengan iringan gesekan Biola saudara Sani Sudin (Kopratasa). Satu persembahan yang cukup baik.

Sekali lagi, tahniah kepada AJK kerja Ekspo Di Ambang Ramadhan. Semoga segala penat lelah kalian dibalas Allah dengan sebaik-baik balasan.

P/s:

Kaab bin Malik merupakan salah seorang sahabat Rasulullah s.a.w. Dia mempunyai kebun kurma, dan ketika turunnya arahan untuk muslimin keluar perang Tabuk, ramai yang berat hati untuk keluar memandangkan ketika itu musim panas dan musim kurma sedang masak.

Kaab berlengah untuk keluar ke Tabuk, kerana berasakan yang beliau mampu mengejar rombongan Rasulullah s.a.w. Ditaqdirkan Allah, peperangan tidak jadi berlaku kerana tentera Rom tidak datang, Rasulullah pulang ke Madinah lebih awal.

Ramai yang memberikan alasan kepada Rasulullah kerana tidak pergi berperang, melainkan 3 orang, termasuk Kaab bin Malik. Mereka ini terpaksa dipulaukan oleh semua umat Islam sehingga Allah memutuskan apakah hukuman terhadap mereka.

Selepas 50 hari, turunlah ayat quran menyatakan Allah telah menerima taubat mereka.

Hari Terbuka Stesen Janakuasa Tuanku Jaafar Port Dickson

Alhamdulillah, pada hari Sabtu, 15 Ogos yang lalu, Stesen Janakuasa Tuanku Jaafar (SJTJ) Port Dickson telah berjaya mengadakan hari terbuka. Wakil dari DPPTK turut sama tidak melepaskan peluang melawat SJTJ supaya kami dapat sama-sama memahami fungsi dan operasi SJTJ.

SJTJ merupakan satu stesen janakuasa milik penuh Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). Dibuka pada tahun 1969, SJTJ telah beroperasi selama hampir 40 tahun. SJTJ juga telah mengalami beberapa siri naik taraf, agar dapat terus memastikan permintaan terhadap tenaga elektrik dapat dipenuhi.

Setibanya para pelawat ke pintu pagar utama, suhu badan kami diperiksa bagi memastikan kami semua bebas demam/ H1N1. Kemudian, para pelawat diminta duduk di bilik induksi bagi taklimat keselamatan sekitar 3 minit. Taklimat ini secara amnya memberitahu pelawat tentang apa yang boleh dan tidak boleh dilakukan di dalam kawasan SJTJ, dan apa yang perlu dilakukan jika berlaku kecemasan.

Seterusnya, para pelawat dibawa ke pameran pertama, iaitu workshop atau bengkel. Di sini, kebanyakan peralatan syarikat SJTJ diberikan servis. Antara yang dipamerkan adalah transmission pipe untuk mengalirkan gas panas dari ruang pembakaran ke bilah turbin untuk memutarkan turbin seterusnya menjana elektrik.

Seterusnya, kami dibawa melihat air inlet iaitu satu sistem penapisan yang digunakan untuk menyedut udara untuk pembakaran. Alat ini mempunyai 700 penapis kecil, yang diselenggara ketika plant tersebut hidup/ onstream maintenance.

Seterusnya, kami dibawa melihat turbin wap/ stim turbine yang diguna untuk menjana elektrik menggunakan sisa haba selepas kuasa utama dijana menggunakan turbin gas. Satu turbin wap di sini mampu menjana sehingga 250MW.

Kami kemudian dibawa melawat bilik kawalan utama, di mana, staf operasi menjaga panel dan mengawasi perjalanan SJTJ dan penjanaan kuasa elektrik. Staf di sini turut memantau efficiency stesen tersebut, yang mampu mencecah sehingga 55.9%.

Selesai di situ, kami dibawa melihat turbin gas yang bagi train A. Satu turbin gas mampu menjana sehingga 250MW, dan SJTJ mempunyai 4 buah turbin gas. Gas panas dari setiap 2 buah turbin gas akan dilalukan ke satu dandang haba sisa/ Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) untuk memanaskan stim, dan stim ini akan memutarkan satu turbin stim.

Secara total, jumlah janaan kuasa elektrik di sini adalah:

Turbin gas 1A: 250MW
Turbin gas 1B: 250MW
Turbin stim 1: 250MW

Turbin gas 2A: 250MW
Turbin gas 2B: 250MW
Turbin stim 2: 250MW

Jumlah pengeluaran maksima adalah 1500MW.

Seterusnya, kami di bawa ke pejabat utama, dan terdapat sedikit permainan dan kuiz untuk kanak-kanak di situ. Seterusnya, pelawat di bawa ke kantin, di mana sedikit jamuan ringan disediakan.

Secara amnya, lawatan ini berjaya memberi pengetahuan dan kefahaman kepada penduduk setempat berkaitan peranan dan proses penjanaan elektrik di SJTJ. Kami berharap agar lebih banyak syarikat di Port Dickson dapat mencontohi SJTJ dalam mendidik masyarakat setempat, di samping memupuk sikap ambil tahu di kalangan ahli masyarakat.

Diriwayatkan dari Jabr bin Abdillah ra dari Nabi saw sesungguhnya beliau bersabda kepada Ka'ab bin Ajrah, "Semoga Alah menjauhkan kamu dari pemimpin yang bodoh."

Ka'ab bertanya, "Siapakah pemimpin yang tolol/bodoh itu, ya Rasulullah?" Rasulullah menjawab: "Yaitu para pemimpin sesudahku yang tidak mau memberi petunjuk seperti petunjukku, tidak pula mau menerapkan syariat (peraturan, undang-undang) seperti ajaranku. Kenangan bersama Tok Wan

Hari ni aku start kerja.

Memang rasa distracted sungguh. Penuh dengan fikiran 'kalaulah aku, kalaulah ummi, kalaulah.. macam macam lagi'. Memang la itu semua hasutan syaitan, tapi sebagai manusia, memang kita susah nak lari dari berfikir kalau-kalau yang pelbagai.

Aku paling terkilan sekali sebab tak sempat nak rekod cerita Tok Wan tentang kehidupan beliau ketika kecil, zaman sebelum jepun, selepas jepun dan sebagainya. Ish, rugi sungguh sejarah negara.

Aku ada banyak benda nak tanya, termasuk la nama mak tokwan, dan sebagainya. Haiya.

Paling terkilan sekali, bila semalam aku dengan syafiq try moi tokwan. Mak aih, punya la flat, kalau letak kicap, rasa la kicap/ toyu sikit. Cuma yang aku kagum, tokwan tak pernah complaint walaupun makan benda tu hari hari. HARI HARI. Makan je, kalau tanya sedap tak, 'sdap'. Tu la reply tokwan. Respek.

Tokwan, maafkanlah kami cucu-cucu yang nakal.

Anyway, hari selasa lepas, time aku sibuk-sibuk uruskan jenazah tokwan, keluarlah artikel ni kat harian metro. Budak ni dulu trainee kat tempat aku keje. Alahai, kena downgrade jadi stesen minyak la plak.

Hari rabu, keluar pula artikel ni. Aku harap depa ni OK la satu family. Kalau marah pun, toksah la lari-lari. Buat penat je orang nak kejar-kejar, dan dah jadi jenaka bodoh dah kat tempat keje aku. Apa hal pun, aku doakan Ammar ni bahagia la dengan awek/tunang/bakal isteri dia ni, dan berhenti dari lari-lari.

Pemergian Tok Wan

Salam.

Semalam, ada program dan mesyuarat di Senawang. Balik dari Senawang, singgah di rumah Mak Mertua aku untuk kupas cempedak.

Aku dah nak balik PD lebih kurang jam 7pm, bila aku ambil telefon dan perasan 7 missed call, dan satu sms dari Syafiq yang berbunyi "Tokwan dah kembali ke rahmatullah petang tadi". Mesej dikirim pada jam 6.28pm. Terus aku forward sms kepada adik2 di luar negara, dan kawan-kawan, juga bos, pasal nak bagitau kena ambil emergency leave. Aku sampai rumah lebih kurang jam 10 malam.

Sepanjang perjalanan, fikiran aku dok pikir, sama ada Tok Wan syok atau sedih meninggal dunia. Mungkin dia gembira sebab dapat jumpa balik arwah Tok Yam yang dah meninggal hampir 20 tahun lalu. Tabah betul Tok Wan boleh hidup bujang sorang-sorang dalam tempoh yang sangat lah lama.

Malam tu, sempat juga lah aku switch on webcam, supaya Husna di UK dapat juga tengok wajah2 terakhir tokwan. Ihsan tak online, jadi tak dapat la nak tunjuk pada dia.

Malam tadi, aku separuh tidur, separuh jaga. Maklumlah, ayah aku dah kepenatan dan tidur dulu. Jam 1.30pg, aku bangun, dengan ayah, menyambut kedatangan sepupu beliau yang merupakan bekas imam masjid negara, dari KL. Selepas tahlil 1 round, terus dia bertolak balik ke KL, kerana antara kawan yang hadir tu, ada yang kena bertugas imam solat subuh di KL.

Terlelap sekali lagi sambil duduk. Ummi pula kejut, minta ambil Mak Andak di hentian bas Taman Sri Skudai.

Pagi tadi, alhamdulillah, pengebumian berjalan lancar. Aku tolong mandikan, kafankan, dan imamkan solat jenazah.

Pengkafanan pun OK, mudah. Rasa macam memang Allah bantu sangat-sangat proses pengurusan jenazah Tok Wan.

Selepas solat, kami masih menunggu ketibaan Pak Lang dari Kedah. Entah kenapa, bas yang dinaiki sangat lambat. Banyak berhenti.

Ketika menunggu tu, ada yang bertanya. "kenapa buat tahlil sambil berdiri lepas solat tadi. Tiada dalam sunnah. Kalau ikut sunnah, terus kebumikan".

Aku senyum sambil menjawab, lebih baik bertahlil dari masing-masing berborak sementara menunggu Pak Lang datang. Pakcik tu pun kata "OK la, ana tak tau yang enta masih tunggu orang. Tapi kalau tengah tunggu, baik tunggu dulu, baru solat".

Part tu pun saya rasa kurang setuju. Sebab bukan satu batch sahaja yang solat. Ada beberapa.

Kemudian, bila Pak Lang sampai, Pak Lang pun solat jenazah sekali lagi kepada Tok Wan. Kemudian jenazah pun dibawa keluar rumah, diselang seli bacaan alfatihah. Selepas tu, aku pun naik van jenazah ke kubur (yang terletak tak sampai 200m dari rumah). Hajat awal, nak pikul sahaja sampai ke kubur. Tapi, bila tengok balik adat orang sini yang akan baca alfatihah setiap 3 langkah, aku rasa, kalau tak naik van tadi, mahu 30minit baru sampai kubur.

Pengebumian berjalan lancar. Entah, aku rasa sungguh bertenaga pegang cangkul. Cuma sekali dua, aku berhenti, pass cangkul kat sepupu aku, dan Pak Lang, meraikan depa. Hujan turun gerimis sekali sekala.

Selesai kebumi dan talkin, kami semua pulang ke rumah, bermesyuarat membincangkan hutang dan harta Tok Wan yang ditinggalkan. Aku respect giler kat bapa aku yang tak complain langsung dan setuju 100% dengan pembahagian yang diwasiatkan tokwan, yang kalau dilihat secara superficial, memang tak berpihak pada beliau. Hatta, segala perbelanjaan menjaga tokwan sebelum ni pun, takde dia claim. Sikap beliau secara tak langsung berjaya membuatkan semua orang berpuas hati.

Respect, tabik. Aku selaku pengerusi mesyuarat (ala ala speaker DUN Perak, YB Bertenang YB..) pun mudah buat kerja. Aku bersyukur kerana meskipun Tok Wan meninggal jauh dari rumah di kedah, yang ditinggalkan tetap berbaik-baik dan bersatu padu. Tak macam dalam TV.

Bila aku baca tulisan adik aku, aku pun sedar, aku ni takde la banyak mana jasa pada Tok Wan. Selain pengalaman meng'fucking out'kan beliau, dan soalan2 yang kelakar bila kami bincang kat YM sekeluarga, memang aku rasa kitorang tak banyak contribution. Terutama aku. Tapi bila tgk mak aku yang sabar giler jaga tokwan, aku rasa respek gile. Sebab jaga pak mertua punya la sabar. Hatta, lebih sabar dari ayah aku sendiri. Aku doa isteri aku pun mampu jaga ayah aku macam tu satu hari nanti.

Aku rasa, itulah iktibar paling besar selama tok wan duduk dengan kami. Parents aku dah tunjukkan bahawa, itulah jasa yang boleh depa lakukan. Semoga kami sebagai anak2 akan ingat dan dapat buat yang sama bila mereka lanjut usia nanti.

Tok Wan duduk di JB pun, sekurang-kurangnya berjaya mengeratkan hubungan antara ayah aku dan tokwan. Walaupun ayah aku ni jenis control macho dan tak display emotion in public, aku tau dia sayang kat bapa dia. Sekurang-kurangnya, tokwan meninggal dunia dalam keadaan ayah aku dah sedikit sebanyak cuba sediakan yang terbaik untuk tokwan.

1) I spent the last weekend in Dungun, Terengganu. We drove there straight after work, and arrived late that night. The best part of Mayangsari Dungun is the Pool Villa, where each villa has its own secluded pool. This is very cool for couple who worry of their aurat being seen, and who likes mandi-mandi.

SO I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR COUPLE IN HONEYMOON.

Apart from this, you may be able to enjoy scuba diving, which can be arranged rather easily here.

2) Najib announced all the 'gifts' few days ago. Firstly, it was not his money to call it gifts. Secondly, what he proposed look attractive at superficial level, but still do not solve the main problem. The taxi permit for example, will be given to UMNO crony's, or companies, which belong to dato' UMNO, who in turn will charge the taxi drivers RM50 per day for sewa permit. It is sad, considering this dato's are rich enough, yet they have to strangle these drivers. Just ask Nazri Aziz, as I am sure he knows a lot about these schemes.

3) With Manek Urai by election scheduled for tomorrow, I am saddened by the effort UMNO is putting in to negate Islam. I really hope Manek Urai voters would not give lifeline to UMNO. They have been robbing Kelantan from the Petroleum Royalty.

4) Our Ministers are bluntly stupid. They are saying words like 'this petrol does not belong to Kelantan state goverment etc'. What scares me is if couple of decades down the road, there may be conflict between Malaysia and Thailand or foreign government. They will be using our ministers' words to make the claim. The statements will definitely backfire. STUPID AND MERE DUMB.

5) Lastly, media is really good in spinning news. This article just dismissed what the exact words scribbled by the students on the wall... As expected from a BN backed media.

Short & Meaningful Weekend

Last week, I received a message that the class on Saturday would be cancelled. I therefore decided to go home to JB on Friday night.

Sadly, around 7pm, I received a call and had to come to the plant. Apparently, there was an issue with few of our equipments, and I had to do basic fitness for service. Since coming back rather late, after 9pm, Ummi told me not to come home the same night, and I decided to spend the night in Seremban.

The following morning, I told Maryam that I wanted to go back. Walking out of the house, I saw the BMW Z4 nicely parked. Without much hesitation, we decided to 'borrow' abah's favourite car.

So, it was 730am in senawang, and ummi tried to advise us not to be very hard on ourselves to come to JB. At 915am, I was already outside the home in JB. And Ummi and Ayah were surprised big time.

That day, we went to a kenduri kahwin in Kulai, and later went shopping at Jusco Taman U. We ate together, and Ummi & Ayah looked very happy that night.

I left JB on sunday morning, since I had to attend a class on Syariah in Masjid Sikamat. We left at 7am, and by 8am, we were already near Ayer Keroh. Then, suddenly rain poured down very heavily. Yay, finally the Z4 traction control system came into action.

I arrived at the mosque on the dot. 9am...

Overall comment: The car has the speed & the look, but the fuel costs a little more than normal & the suspension is a little harder. I guess that's the price to pay for such style & speed.

Today, I was watching TV3 news at a restaurant, when suddenly they had a special report on Camera and how you can make money with it.

Hey, what the hell? Has malaysia run out of any useful news? What about motives to Altantuya's murder, in case you people at TV3 really has nothing to show.

Next, suddenly they talked about children malnutrition, and the conclusion was "it is good to serve kids during the period between breakfast and lunch, since kids continue to consume the energy during that period". "snack is good". And they recommended Tiger biscuits. Wait, why do Tiger get this special slot on the News, and not just a normal commercial?

Next, the Deputy PM talked about too much politics in sport bodies in Malaysia. The sports associations should concentrate on the athletes' performance, and not the politics. His statement was further supported by the Sports minister (Shabery Cheeek). Hey, who put all these politicians and princes in the sports governing bodies in the first place?

Today, I drove early in the morning, from KL to reach my class in time. I got there about 30minutes before it was supposed to start. I am still sad that the lecturer was late. He was 40 minutes late. And this was his second time. He kept telling us he is the YDP (chairman) of an Islamic NGO in Negeri Sembilan. And the topic today was adab ikhtilaaf. In the past two lectures, he chose to make fun of those who follow different teaching (wahabi etc) and simply did not demonstrate the right adaab of having ikhtilaaf. And I do not know why I spent 8 hours of my weekends listening to his lectures, which were way off the mark. He was not teaching adab ikhtilaf, and some of the students kept asking him soalan soalan fekah, which he was more interested in answering, rather than sticking to the syllabus.

Life over the past many weeks

I am a keen follower of these sports: Football and Tennis.

1) Football
Local football, I am a great supporter of Kedah FA. European Football, I follow these 3 teams: Newcastle Utd, Juventus, and Barcelona.

Newcastle United got relegated few weeks back. I guess, overall, the team was not good enough. Period. Well, I still remember back in the early 90's when Newcastle just re-joined the Top division. Well, what does not kill you makes you stronger. Hopefully, Newcastle will be coming back in a couple of seasons.

Juventus achieved a respectable league finish, considering they got relegated to Serie B few seasons back.

Barcelona won the UCL.

However, I have stopped the habit of watching football, not because my naqib will shout at me or anything, but I just don't have the energy to deprive myself from sleep to watch football.

2) Tennis

Roger Federer finally completed his Grand Slam trophies collection. I am never a Nadal fan, and I was hoping that Fedex could achieve something this year, which he did. Good. Hopefully, he can regain his wimbledon title next month.

3) Politics

I attended the 'Muktamar PAS 55: Islam Memimpin Perubahan' last weekends. Full three days. While many are saying things regarding rejection to Husam and co, and the Unity Government, I prefer to say only this: MOVE ON.

Only stupid people will believe everything that the newspapers throw at them, especially with regards to the Unity Government.

Last sunday, the Pancaindera headline was 'Marsha tak mahu kontroversi lagi', showing Marsha in tight dress, and mini skirt. How Ironic. Previously, there was another actress who said 'tak mahu seksi lagi', while her photo in the paper was just as exposed as Marsha's.

Oh, let's not forget Utusan 'Menteri mati lemas'.

1) Anwariyun

Mereka ni penyokong Anwar Ibrahim dari zaman UMNO lagi. Mungkin atas dasar 'islamik' DSAI atau apa pun, mereka ini memang pengikut yang kuat. Sebab asal mereka dari UMNO, maka mereka kekal dengan perangai UMNO. Bila Pakatan pegang kuasa, mereka pun syok, dan perangai mereka tak ubah dengan UMNO. Sama rasuah, dan sebagainya. Orang macam ni, penyokong kuat kepada sistem politik berasaskan kaum yang wujud dalam Barisan. Mereka mungkin tidak suka kepada UMNO/ BN kerana dasar-dasar tertentu, tetapi cara mereka bercakap dan sebagainya, tiada beza dengan sikap racist parti-parti komponen BN. Pada saya, golongan ini bodoh kerana tak memahami asas perjuangan PR, yang membela rakyat dan bukan rakyat (seperti Altantuya) tanpa mengira kaum.

3) Anti-UMNO

Golongan ini, benci pada UMNO. Mungkin kerana sebab-sebab tertentu, mungkin kerana penindasan yang UMNO pernah lakukan, mungkin kerana pernah minta tanah tak dapat. Ataupun mungkin pernah kalah pencalonan bahagian. Mungkin juga hujah agama. Apa pun, mereka ini benci UMNO secara emosional. Hatta, kalau ada sebarang cadangan kerjasama dengan UMNO, akan ditolak. Sama ada unity government atau muzakarah, semua tak boleh. Bagi saya, golongan ini bodoh, kerana taqlid membabi buta. Kalau satu hari, UMNO boleh reform, dan nauzubillah, tiba-tiba PKR jadi macam UMNO, adakah masih tetap mahu benci UMNO kerana sentimen dan emosi tadi?

PAS, PKR, DAP, semua ada

4) Ulama' v Professional

Satu lagi puak yang tak berapa cerdik yang ada dalam PAS, adalah puak yang menganggap Ulama' ni semua bangang dan tak reti perintah. Ada juga puak yang anggap Professional ni semua jahat dan tak bertarbiyah. Come on la, sangka baik la sikit. Bodoh la kalau kita anggap orang semua jahat, dan kita sahaja yang baik dalam dunia ni. Last sekali tak sape pun dapat manfaat. Yang ulama', cuba-cuba la tarbiyahkan yang professional. Yang professional, cuba-cuba la ajarkan ulama' hal ehwal muamalat dan foreign affairs.

Kesimpulan, hadam-hadamkan lah matlamat perjuangan dan hala tuju parti. Gunakan medan yang ada sebagai medan mendekati masyarakat (dakwah). Toksah la dok benci orang, atau suka kat orang mengkhinzir buta.

Jika anda memilih untuk menyokong PAKATAN RAKYAT, maka jadilah penyokong dan pendokong yang bijak. Bukan kerana wang, bukan kerana harta, bukan kerana glamour, tetapi kerana Allah, dan kerana memperjuangkan yang hak.

Baru pulang dari kelas Ust Perwira tentang Namimah. Apa itu namimah? Berdasarkan kefahaman saya, Namimah adalah perbuatan mengapi-apikan, melaga-lagakan satu orang dengan satu orang yang lain, dengan menggunakan ayat orang pertama tadi yang diputar belitkan.

Namimah juga adalah perbuatan bercerita hal orang lain, yang mungkin akan mengaibkan dan memalukan orang tersebut.

Jika kita tinjau media kita hari ini, budaya namimah ini sangatlah berleluasa. Sama ada cerita artis, atau cerita politik, atau apa pun. Begitu banyak cerita namimah dan putar belit. Spin Doctors.

Perbuatan namimah menjanjikan balasan neraka bagi yang melakukannya.

Dalam satu forum di Bank Negara baru-baru ini, Ust Zahazan ada bercerita, bagaimana dia diberitahu rakan beliau, betapa media memainkan peranan mengurangkan kadar jenayah di Malaysia. Hatta, iklan yang dilihat remeh atau ringkas di televisyen, seperti bertolak ansur di jalan raya (Iklan Hari Raya PETRONAS) ternyata berjaya mengurangkan kemalangan jalan raya.

Atas sebab sebegitu, maka Al Fadhil Ust Zahazan dan rakan-rakan telah sama-sama menerbitkan majalah SOLUSI. Berdasarkan pembacaan awal, majalah ini banyak mengambil iktibar dari Sirah. Para penulis yang berkaliber, termasuk Ust Hasrizal & Dr Zulkifli Al Bakri, menawarkan artikel yang menarik dan relevan dengan situasi masa kini.

Barisan penulis yang melangkau sempadan salaf-khalaf mahupun sempadan politik, sememangnya majalah ini merupakan satu yang harus dimiliki dan dibaca semua keluarga islam di malaysia.

Wow, a danish firm organised this Survivor series in an island, off the mersing coast. The contestants had to run naked. This somehow has received public backlash.

I wonder if the comments are relevant.

But put it this way. The programme is meant for the Danish, and is never broadcasted in Malaysia. We got to know this by 'accident'. And in Danish TV, there are many other naked things, and maybe sex scene.

Well, next thing, we could be seeing demonstration at Danish Embassy by some PAS/ NGO/ UMNO whoever who wants the publicity.

And why not do demo at British High Commissioner, US Embassy, and all other countries, where nude scenes are being shown.

And why not do demo at Petaling Street and pasar malam, where chinese VCD pirates are selling malaysian-made porn cds, or cds with nude people in.

Over the past long weekends

Last weekend, I went to Penang to see my wife, and to return her car. I had two meetings in KL on Thursday, and immediately after the meeting, I went to buy some Burger King whopper, and drove to Penang.

1) I encountered a road bully (I had a bad feeling that these people were cops, the SB or FRU, the ruthless group, looking at how clean shaven they were. But I am not going to speculate) on the way. I was driving rather quickly, and had to overtake a lorry right ahead. I tried to move to the right lane, and immediately heard someone honking. OK, blind spot, I'm sorry. I was too close to the lorry ahead, I had to overtake it on the emergency lane.

It was a Toyota CAMRY, PLATE NO WMK 1663, silver colour. It could be a false plate number. I don't know.

Somehow, the Camry I tried to close in earlier was furious. Instead, it moved to the emergency lane, and tried to hit the back of my car. I had to speed up, and the car chased me all the way. I overtook few lorries on the emergency lane. Then, I moved the car to the slow lane. The car simply moved to my right (fast lane), and I saw them shouting something (which of course I could not hear). They tried to close in, pushing me to to the emergency lane again. To my left was the stormdrain. The bully began slowing down the car, I believe, trying to push me into the drain, or force me to stop my car. I saw their evil intention in the eyes, and I knew I'd be dead if I let them push my car down the cliff, or if they stop my car. Immediately, I pressed hard on the brake pedal, and the car stumbled forward. Seeing the gap, I simply hit on the gas again, and ran away.

They went after me. At that particular moment, I saw one of them talking on the phone. The idea hit me, and immediately I called 999. The receptionist was slow, but finally connected me to the Tapah Police Station.

Seeing I was on the phone, the bully car (WMK 1663) went ahead, rather slowly. I believed they were trying to trap me again. I slowed down, trying to manage my distance with them. Sometimes, the speed dropped below 80km/h.

When they finally left the highway, I continued my journey at the standard speed limit. Fuh that was close. Throughout the rest of the journey, I was hoping that a policeman would stop me. That did not happen, and I reached Penang around 930pm.

2) I spent most of the week at Freedom Academy at Bayview Hotel, georgetown. This programme was organised by Malaysia Think Tank and more of it can be found at waubebas.org.

3) On sunday afternoon, my wife and I went to her apartment. All her friends were still not at home. I planned to leave the house after maghrib. Somehow, one of the got home early, and chased us out (again). She said "Didn't I tell you that I am coming back at 5?" She told us to go somewhere, makan-makan or anything. That's what she'd do if her brother is around.

I could have retaliated by saying why doesn't she go somewhere else until maghrib. But I was not in the mood to pick up a fight with this particular future doctor. I really cannot believe someone like this pick up medicine as a career. So again, we ended up squatting at the Masjid Negeri. After maghrib, we went for dinner, and I took the bus to Seremban.

What goes around comes around...

Well, at least I am still alive and kicking.

I have been commuting from KL to PD.

Once, a friend said he had important thing to discuss with me. I rushed back to seremban. Eventhough things did not really work out, I did not feel any regret. Seorang lelaki yang bermusafir untuk memnuhi tuntutan sahabatnya, lebih baik dari beriktikaf di masjid nabawi selama sebulan. Ada sahabat yang memberitahu, I myself do not know whether the hadith is sahih or not.

My wife and I both have been chased out of the house on the weekends. People accused me of committing something haraam by visiting her room. It was sad that we had to squat at her other friend's house, who did not mind us staying at their lounge for a while, until it was close to the bus departure time.

Kehadiran Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi dan calon BN, Ismail Saffian di majlis makan malam perpaduan di Kampung Baru Kuala Sepetang, sebuah perkampungan nelayan di DUN Kuala Sepetang, Bukit Gantang malam tadi, kini telah menjadi bahan perbualan.

Ini kerana majlis tersebut diserikan dengan konsert tiga gadis manis berimej seksi selepas Zahid dan Ismail selesai menyampai ucapan meminta hadirin menyokong BN dalam pilihanraya kecil Parlimen Bukit Gantang 7 April ini.

Tiga artis Cina berseluar pendek biru dan singlet biru itu, menari dan menyanyi lagu rancak sewaktu Zahid sedang mengadakan sidang media di depan pentas tersebut.

Majlis makan malam perpaduan itu dihadiri oleh kira-kira 1,500 orang. Sebelum beredar, para wartawan menemui Zahid untuk meminta penjelasan berhubung ucapannya sebelum itu.

Dalam sidang akhbar tersebut, Zahid ditanya mengenai keberkesanan pendekatan nyanyian dan tarian yang digunakan bagi menarik pengundi Cina.

Dalam jawapannya, Ahmad menegaskan bahawa ia "harus dihormati kerana ia sebahagian daripada budaya Cina."

"Di kawasan saya, saya bukan memenangi hati orang Cina dengan tarian panas begini. Tetapi kita mesti hormat, ini adalah satu kebudayaan orang Cina.

"Di kawasan saya ada 20 peratus pengundi Cina, saya juga pergi ke Tokong Cina dan menghadiri majlis pengkebumian orang Cina.

"Saya tahu bagaimana hendak menghormati keluarga orang Cina dan orang mudanya," tegas Zahid.

Ditanya mengenai sokongan pengundi Cina kepada BN, Zahid percaya oleh kerana kerajaaan persekutuan dan kerajaan sudah berusaha untuk menyelesaikan masalah orang Cina, sokongan mereka kepada BN semakin meningkat.

Zahid yang juga timbalan pengerusi Umno Perak mendakwa sokongan masyarakat Cina terhadap BN dalam pilihanraya kecil semakin bertambah.

"Sokongan pengundi Cina, mengikut laporan, semakin bertambah sekarang ini. Kerajaan pusat mengambil langkah proaktif untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi mereka.

"(Sokongan bertambah) setelah kita mengangkat semua masalah (mereka) ini kepada menteri berkenaan. Dan tindakan segera sedang dilakukan," katanya.

Beliau turut menafikan undi sesuatu kaum tertentu menjadi faktor penentu keputusan pilihanraya kali ini.

"Semua kaum menjadi penentu. Dan semua undi penting, sama ada undi Cina, India atau Melayu. Dalam keadaan pilihanraya umum, lebih lagi pilihanraya kecil, kita tidak boleh abaikan mana-mana undi, daripada mana-mana kaum.

"Satu undi pun sangat bermakna (kepada BN) dalam pilihanraya kecil Bukit Gantang ini," katanya.

Sebelum itu dalam ucapannya, kerajaan telah mengenal pasti beberapa masalah utama nelayan di kawasan itu, termasuk gangguan lanun dan tentera Indonesia, masalah subsidi petrol dan operasi bot haram.

Tindakan lanjut sedang diusahakan kementerian yang berkaitan, tambahnya.

Menghormati hak yang sah kepada semua rakyat dengan memelihara kedudukan istimewa orang Melayu dan bumiputera serta menjaga kepentingan kaum-kaum lain.

1) Bagaimana dengan menghormati hak orang lain, seperti rakyat mongolia? Adakah orang mongolia mati dibunuh OK? Bagaimana pula dengan pekerja-pekerja asing di Malaysia yang saban hari di pau, dipukul dan dirompak oleh rakyat tempatan? Patutlah nampak gaya mereka yang terlibat dengan pembunuhan rakyat mongolia akan terlepas

2) Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan kehidupan dan masa depan? Ada bangunan tinggi? Ada harta melimpah ruah?

3) Benarkah UMNO mampu membebaskan rakyat dari belenggu kemiskinan? Bukankah Najib dalam perhimpunan UMNO lalu, terang-terangan berkata yang pihak kerajaan telah meluluskan beribu-ribu projek yang akan diberikan kepada kontraktor kelas F penyokong UMNO? Semua rakyat? Penipu

4) Keadilan kepada yang lemah. Undang-undang hanya untuk yang lemah. Orang awam, bunuh orang kena bicara. Orang di atas, buat apa pun lepas

On UMNO AGM

1) KJ became the Youth Leader. Regardless of what people say, he is still the most charismatic candidate compared to Mukhriz & Khir Toyo. I think Khir Toyo was his proxy too, just to split Mukhriz's votes. Anyway, I still prefer KJ becoming the Youth Leader, as he is not a Najib's man (He is malaysian and not mongolian) and at least would put some weight to UMNO power balance.

Verdict: Good for UMNO & Malaysian

2) Muhydin became the Deputy. This is not unexpected. His main rival, Ali Rustam, has been removed earlier. Mat Taib, the speak-no-english is way far from challenging M'din.

Verdict: Not Good for Malaysian, only good for Najib

3) Shahrir Samad was not elected and resigning from his ministerial post. Well, this guy did that when he was the BNBBC leader. It is no surprise. However, this is a man that UMNO should

have made president.

4) Haramkan pakatan rakyat: Some Youth Delegate wanted to ban the use of Pakatan Rakyat as a name. WAIT A MINUTE. Is Barisan Nasional a legal institution/ society? Has there ever been an AGM for Barisan Nasional? How is the election process? RUBBISH. Yet, they have one flag, and even could contest in an election under the banner. MORE RUBBISH.

5) Some delegates said " dekati rakyat macam pikat gadis". Yes, that's the UMNO way. Touch and Go. Pay some money, get the vote, and leave for good, until next election comes. Then build more road to give project to crony to pay for the election expenses.

6) Kelab UMNO luar negara said " Ban PMRAM and revoke their scholarship". Wait a minute, does he think PMRAM is a society under the malaysian student department (like UKEC)? PMRAM was there way before malaysia becomes an independent country. And does the BN people think that the government money is their money? RUBBISH. That's why I always think that paying income tax to Inland Revenu is also RUBBISH, since these UMNO chaps cannot even differentiate between their money or the people/ tax payers' money. So, do you blame people when they refuse to pay income tax?

7) Ikut hangpa la nak buat apa pun.

Al-Fatihah

Ustaz Khairul Azhar memberikan pendapat beliau ketika Muktamar Pemuda PAS N9 2007. Kelihatan Saya berbaju merah berkopiah hijau putih, duduk di belakang, tunduk membaca laporan yang disisipkan.

Ketua Penerangan DPPN9 yang juga Ketua Pemuda PAS Kawasan Tampin, Negeri Sembilan, Ustaz Khairul Azhar Kamaruddin telah kembali menemui ALLAH jam 11.20 malam hari Khamis malam Jumaat di Hospital Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban. Disyaki akibat demam denggi.

Saya yang menerima beritu tersebut, lekas membuat aturan agar saya dan sahabat pemuda PAS yang lain dapat pergi mensolatkan jenazah beliau keesokan harinya selepas solat jumaat di Masjid Paroi Jaya. Setelah itu, kami segera mengiring jenazah ke liang lahad.

Syahdu sungguh suasana ketika itu. Nampak la ramai pakcik-pakcik, ustaz-ustaz, orang-orang dewasa yang menitiskan air mata. Turut hadir di situ adalah YB Salehuddin Ayub & Ustaz Nasruddin Tantawi.

Saya kenal dengan Ustaz Khairul Azhar ketika dalam pergerakan pemuda & unit amal. Pertama kali bertemu beliau adalah ketika muktamar pemuda PAS negeri sembilan pada tahun 2007, yang diadakan di Teluk Kemang.

Pemergian almarhum adalah satu kehilangan besar bagi Pemuda PAS Negeri Sembilan kerana ketokohan dan sifat kepimpinan beliau. Jika saya tidak silap, beliau merupakan calon Ketua Pemuda PAS N9 bagi pemilihan yang akan datang. Akan tetapi, Allah lebih menyayangi beliau.

Semoga ALLAH mencucuri rahmat keatas roh nya dan ditempatkan bersama para syuhada dan para solehin.

Mat Taib Now Says He Speaks English

Now, the UMNO election is near, people are talking about those candidates contesting one of the top 3 posts.

For post no 1, we have a man entangled in a murder case, womanising and many others. Good candidate to be the head of all crooks.

Post no 2 initially had 3 candidates. One is a johorian, which makes him the favourite candidate, considering the strong UMNO base over there. Another is a Malaccan, who was complaining about money politics. He now has been removed from the list, ironically, because of money politics. The third candidate is our main topic for today.

This man has achieved quite a feat in his life. He was the Menteri Besar of Selangor back in the 90's. Mind you, Selangor is the richest state in Malaysia. Next, he also got married to a princess, while swearing on the quran that that event never took place. This symbolises his bravery and guts in going against the Selangor King and Allah.

He was also caught in Australia with tons of cash, and he got away with saying " Mi no spik inglis, Mi no pil pom" ( I don't speak english, so I don't fill the form). Remarkably, the Australian court bought the lame trick, and he got away. The court later overturned their decision, but never called him again for re-trial.

Recently, Dr M commented that he'd be supporting Muhydin Yasin for the post no 2. His reason for not supporting Mat Taib was that, sarcastically, Mat Taib does not speak english!!!

And yesterday, Mat Taib made a press statement, listing all his feats, underlining his capability of speaking english ( Is he too stupid to understand that Dr M made that statement sarcastically?).

NOW, HE HAS OPENLY ADMITTED THAT HE HAS BEEN LYING TO THE AUSTRALIAN

COURT.

As he has now openly admitted that he has commited the crime of lying under the oath, I think the Australian government should order a re-trial of the case.

The least we could do is by not selecting him to be the UMNO deputy chief. This man has no integrity. He lied to the court, he lied under the oath, he even lied by swearing using Allah's name. There's no way he'd be honest when dealing with us.
