radio ramadhan bristol
couple of nights ago, i went to the launch of radio ramadhan bristol. well, it is not a bad idea, since my dad paid for the £35 ticket when he came to bristol last month. the meal was nice.. however, the organisation of the event was not very smooth.
i was rather surprised to see Dawn Primarolo, a member of Tony Blair's cabinet. well, it is not very surprising actually since she does have her share of responsibility in this broadcast and information business.. and she's the bristol south MP.
anyway, i am not so sure whether they've managed to raise enough funding for the radio, but i just hope that people will keep on helping so that we can have an islamic radio station for the next 20 years, although the original plan covers only 5 years.
anyway... back to abaqus
bye
