I am writing as a reply to my brother's entry.
barca defenders, apart from puyol are no big name in football. they are not a team full of galacticos, but merely hardworking footballers. even sol campbell's salary is higher than that of oleguer, marquez, etc i think. not to mention, ashley cole. So in term of defending, we do expect arsenal back line to be more solid.
On the other hand, attacking wise, barca is a team full of creativity and talent. owh, they also have wage limit for their players. look at the workrate of people like deco, giuly, eto'o, ronaldinho, iniesta, etc.. they always run around flippin' heck..
lehmann did deserve the red card, although noone liked the decision. barca disliked the goal to be cancelled, as much as arsenal having lehmann sent off.
had he stayed, there's no guarantee that arsenal would have won the match either. 10-men arsenal had more defensive mentality, hence more difficult to break. while they were 11, barca did manage to break their defence, with eto'o tru (but caught by lehmann). otherwise, it would have been 1-0 (with 11-men arsenal). and it could have been more.
the match-against-10-men attitude within the barca's players is another issue. they were being rather complacent thinking they were playing against 10-men. until they were really desperate, they did not work as hard.
freekick to eboue was not a freekick at all. he did dive big-time, but henry kept quiet when it went to his/arsenal's favour. puyol hardly touched that guy. Sol campbell connected to the freekick, and scored.
i would say, the match would have been more interesting with 11 play 11. and we could have seen more goals. maybe more on arsenal side, but most probably more on barca's side.
well, afterall, it is just a game.. and it has been predestined...
and the better side of it is that, here, we dont have to qiam to watch footie...

barca boleh menang tanpa ronaldinho. arsenal tak boleh hidup tanpa henry.. vava voom
