commeting on an entry by sarah titled whatever. as much as i agree to her to this traditional scholarship, i strongly believe that one should not force his/her opinion on other people. especially when living in this world of this era, people would consider such act as extrimism and obsession.

well, i do agree with her friend who said, "it's okay to be obsessed with traditional scholarship" to a certain extent.. but it is not always true. this is because obsession can lead to extrimism and this is not the right way of islam.. the moderate generation. once obsession gets hold of someone, he/she would think his/her way is the only right way.. and the best one.. adopting the wahhabis' attitude.

you have to allow other people to go through the self-development process like you did. you went through the process and decided to take up this pondok thing. other people will come to the same stage insyaAllah if you allow them to think. by interrupting or interfering their thought processing stages, they will simply run away from you.
