FIRST TASTE OF STANDING BY
Sorry everyone for not updating my blog regularly anymore.
Initially I was planning of going home this weekends. However, due to one reason or another, I could not. I was appointed by the Inspection Head to stay as inspection 'co-ordinator' throughout the CoB shutdown.
Later, there's another 'emergency', and again, I was told to stay as long as I am needed. So, here I am, enjoying myself, not sure what is going on, and what actions will be taken.

menarik gle..
menarik. semalam balik kul 1230. hari ni masuk pagi. huhu, masalah yg agak kritikal. sian company, rugi dlm USD40k sehari kot (opportunity cost). aku tak tau aa. aku bukan bahagian finance
aku tak paham aaa company yg ko kije ni....shell malaysia ke pe?
company SRC shell refining company.. iaitu refinery, tempat proses crude oil
aku ada dgr cite, tapi tak tau reference kat mana n whether reliable ke tak, yg minyak kat malaysia will run out in about 6 years time, given that there are no other lubuk baru yg dijumpai. hence that's why they really need geologists at this point of time to help them (PET) to look for lubuk baru.
6 years? biar benar!
we'll be a nett oil importer??!
terasa terpanggil nak tinggalkan comment with regards to the minyak-in-malaysia thing. the 'cerita' might have originated from that australian-based the age article (and there it says 5 years actually).
at any rate, this is what the author has written as a follow-up should anyone be interested.
