We are the people whom Allah honoured through Islam, so whenever we seek honour other than it, Allah will disgrace us.

More Excursions

Apart from me being a 'static' equipment engineer, Life has been rather 'dynamic' for me. In the past few weeks, many times I went out early from work (530ish), and headed to any durian stalls around PD.

Once we (the housemates) tried jalan sepang, and planned to have dinner in Nilai. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open. The other time, had dinner in Seremban..

14th July, together with Anwar Z, we headed to Jerantut for a wedding. It was a nice journey, taking on the Bukit Putus road, Malaysian version of Mt Akina (Initial D). Got there around lunch time, met up with Suhaib and few friends from the UK. They came to witness a malaysian wedding ceremony.

Then, made our way to Taman Negara (National Park), Kuala Tahan entry. Tried rapid shooting that same afternoon, and went to Lata Berkoh the following morning. It was really scenic and lovely, getting away from the hectic and stresses of working life.

The sunday night, I was in Seremban, and with 2 other friends went to watch Harry Potter.

Monday, back to work.....

Came Thursday, went to KMB to visit my friends and lecturers there. Reminiscent

Saturday, went to a wedding in Batu Kikir, again taking the Bukit Putus road. Grabbed a Lemang on my way home passing by Seri Menanti area, and durian of course... On the way back, watched Transformers at seremban 2.

Sunday, went to Putrajaya for UK Alumni reunion. Catched up some stuff with couple of college mates.

Monday, back to work..

and Sunday is approaching.. the day I am supposed to leave for Bintulu.

Pictures.. well, find taman negara picture on the web.. taken by professional photographers, they by far outshine mine..

Malaysia VS China

Well, I started taking up the new habit last week. Road Trip.

Last week, I went to Batu Pahat after work (wednesday). On the way, we stopped at one of those durian stalls to enjoy the exotic taste of the king of fruits. I finally got home at 2am.

Friday, with another friend, I went to Tg Tuan, just to enjoy the view and meal at ILHAM resort.

Saturday, had a meeting in Serdang.

Sunday, went all the way to Melaka, to visit the remnants of our first european colonialisation. Got home later that evening.

Monday, accompany a friend to senawang, had dinner at Seremban 2 and watch DieHard4.0

Tuesday, went to Bukit Jalil to watch Malaysia vs China. Well, I think the team deserve better credit than it is currently being given.

We had average defense that can defend quite well, to an extent that China has to get into the box to score. But they got in very well, and converted most of their opportunities.

We had good strikers, eventhough Hairudin lost the ball few times. He did cause some chaos in the Chinese defense line. On the other hand, we were not as efficient as the Chinese in converting our opportunities.

Midfield, I think Hardi Jaafar (No 10) was dragging the whole team down. He did not do his part, did not run, did not mark his man properly amongst others. Shukor Adan improved a little as compared to his performance in the Tiger Cup.

Our captain was simply inspiring. His work rate was fabulous, and second to none. The result was quite unfair to the amount of effort he put in.

Eddy Helmi, eventhough his passes got intercepted few times, his work rate was superb. He kept running till the final minute.

Indra Putra's introduction did influence the game a little. His phyisical presence was simply more effective as compared to Akmal Rizal's.

We played long ball too much. The Chinese players made full use of their height advantage in defending the goal, as well as scoring the goal.

All in all, thanks to Indra for scoring a superb goal. Malaysia should rehearse doing this more oftern, considering that we are physically inferior to our opponents. Nod the ball back to one shooter, and let him shoot.

To our coach, PLEASE DROP HARDI JAAFAR. I think he has become rather complacent, thinking that he is indispensable, regardless of his performance. Better put one of those Kedah young players, that won the FA cup. Their work rate is remarkable, their enthusiastic to prove their value on the national squad will be immense.

Good experience, spoiled by Malaysia No 10.
